Re: DENIM AND CO................QUESTION..............SIDE POCKET JEANS BROUGHT BACK

I found a substitute for the D&Co jeans -  from Blair.

Same style, but better fabric, better price.  More colors ... and fantastic prices when on sale.

They are DenimEase Full Elastic Classic Pull-On Jeans, Item B12704.

Which jeans are you talking about?  If they are the originals then Gary has stated for a couple of years now that they had to find a new manufacturer, but they are supposed to be the same cut as the originals.

Croft and Barrow at Kohl's has an elastic waist pant they do in denim. Very similar to D&C.

Re: DENIM AND CO................QUESTION..............SIDE POCKET JEANS BROUGHT BACK

I used to buy the original waist pants when they were under $30.  The last ones I bought a few years ago were noticably smaller--although I bought a larger size it was smaller than the size I had gotten previously.  Got the same style at Blair for less money and they fit!!

Re: DENIM AND CO................QUESTION..............SIDE POCKET JEANS BROUGHT BACK

SweetSpice: “ I purchased "3) pairs of the these jeans that Gary Goben brought back recently after being out of stock for many months. I have had several previous pairs of them. When I tried them on, I noticed that the "material" was not the same and it was not as "soft" as it was originally and the fit was "tighter" although I wear a PM. I am very disappointed and will probably have to send them back. What happened to the "cut" of the jeans and the texture of the "material"?”

I “don’t” know what “happened” but I “am” “sorry” to hear “about” this. When “you” find a great “pair” of “jeans,” it’s a bummer “when” they stop “making” them “properly”!
