OH YES ITS ACADEMY AWARD TIME.....
Definitely NOT an Oscar winning group in the bunch this weekend....head for the hills and your nearest stores for some serious shopping instead of watching this qwap....I think "Oscar" would even hide his head in shame.....

And it looks like QVC has "gone Hollywood" with Hummingbird sunglasses--- channel the actor in you wearing the latest choice of fashion....
Then it's QVC's version of THE AMERICAN HUSTLE as Saturday Morning Q takes center stage......
Stay tuned for a brand as monotonous and boring as Oscar acceptance speeches ....it's CLARKS throughout the day.....
![]()
Then the Storm Trooper makes an appearance with the "out of this world" revolutionary skin care.....speaking of space genres ....this QVC "red carpet" items looks like something from Star Trek..... sing the theme song as you watch the show....
And talk about taking someone hostage, like the movie Captain Phillips.....it's MORE SHOES with Shoe Shopping With Jane....then more Clarks....and another round of the Storm Trooper....
May I have the envelope please....the winner for most appearances on a weekend .....why it's none other than ......DELL!!!!
...And for all the QVC fans the PERFECT jewelry item....

Now it's Sunday......the day the Academy Award Of Merit statuette is awarded to the "highest achievements in the film industry".......and just as the nominees await in angst to see who has won each category....QVC shoppers wait in angst as they view this lineup....
March is a very special month......MARCH IS BOSE MONTH!!!!
.....ground breaking developments in audio technology that resulted in AWARD WINNING Wave Radio and Acoustic Wave Music System.....
I think Jasper has the right idea.....I'd get as far away from my television as I could...

Lighter on his feet than Fred Astaire (who won a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1981) no one can hold a candle to QVC's own dancing foodie, David.... And put on your formal attire as David presents the Golden Spatula Awards.....And March is ITS NOT EASY EATING GREEN month....
(folks I don't make this stuff up, I just report it).....that's right every recipe he makes in March will be green.... and I know you will jump for joy....they will be doing something special with kale!!!! I can hardly wait....
Get plenty of candlesticks ready as you create the demonstration in your very own home....as the Bose sound snuffs them out....a definite GONE WITH THE WIND moment.
....it just doesnt get any better than this...

Why QVC's very own 2013 Customer Choice Award Winner, Mally, with her celebrity tested techniques and products....
QVC then brings its own version of THE SECRET GARDEN (A British Academy Of Film and Television Arts award winner).....with Cottage Farms....
Then stay tuned for QVC's version of THE WOLF OF WALL STREET...it's Rick, hoping he brings far reaching financial implications to QVC with ELECTRONICS EXTRAVAGANZA!---The promo reads---"see what's buzzing in technology".....I just hope customers don't get stung!!!
![]()
And try to stay awake as QVC closes out the day with FASHION DAY KICKOFF with visions of polyester as you nod off....
A NON WINNING WEEKEND FOR SURE!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww Spurt. Come on. Get with the, uh, program... (NOT). Moms has pulled out all the stops this weekend...
I'll let you in on a little inside intel... someone has managed to switch the Bose candles with the flameless variety, just for you..., so no matter how many decibels are employed, those candles ain't goin' out this time! Just watch as host eardrums rupture and veins pop as the on-air demos don't go precisely the way they hope...

But that it were true... What a hoot THAT would be...
Cottage Farms huh... Again NOT... Hey, at least with Roberta's I get to see that youthful cutie exuberantly hawking plants and flowers that I understand bear no resemblance whatsoever to what the actual customer actually receives... And speaking of youthful exuberance, dear Bobby... when I think Norwegian hunk, I think of that adorable twenty-something Olympic snow boarder and NOT (again) of a certain bloated-odie to whom you ascribe the title... But what is it with me and this youth thing anyway...? Could it be that all the talk of youth inducing beauty products has struck a nerve.... Nawwwwww. More than likely, it's just that all these animal prints have brought out my inner cougar...

Yes, Spurt, it is indeed ANOTHER pathetic weekend line-up and one that I won't be tuning into at all... Poor moms... She just doesn't have a clue as to what a girl wants, I guess... And she better figure it out pretty darn quickly because like those Bose candles, this is one viewer who'll soon be Gone with the Wind... and you know what they say... when it's gone, it's gone...

I agree, stevie, moms HAS pulled out all the stops. Why, if she believes we need to live and dress like Madison Ave and The Hamptons, why not go to the West Coast and show us how to live the Red Carpet life! I, however, like the 55% of the poll respondents, did not watch the show. Now, if they came out with Farm Style, I would watch!
I will say, at least Bose is made in USA
, something rarely seen on QVC other than food and cosmetics - there is a factory not too far from here.

Oh, and Spurt... get pen in hand to start on your updates for the next few weeks, because looking ahead... (no drum roll EVER necessary these days...) NEXT weekend will feature YET ANOTHER all day garden party on Saturday AND YET ANOTHER Dyson extravaganza on Sunday... The week after will focus on prince-not-so-charming on Saturday and (gasp) the Muppets and computers on Sunday. That moms, she's on a roll...

BIG NEXT...

Stevie stop messing with my flameless!!!...in fact I have an order coming in the light pink ....will go great with my spring coffee table display.....
I bet Dan Hughes would be one host that would be willing to make the switch from REAL to FLAMELESS candles for the Bose demo...it would make a GREAT PRANK!
Hey afterall, isn't QVC an "entertainment" channel now....
They need to do something to spice up the same ole qwappy lineup.....
In addition to a bagoholic you're a Cougar too.
.....Oh Stevie what are we gonna do with you...STAY AWAY FROM THE ANIMAL PRINT
.......but don't you know these young snowboarders are only interested in one thing....their smart phones
So I hope you now have a twitter account so you can tweet and post endless "selfies"....oh you are in for a fun time for sure.....
so your think "your man" is "bloated".....
couldn't stop laughing.....

OMG I think TPTB need some SERIOUS SERIOUS intervention.....now they are repeating their lineup even more frequently.....I know they have a short time to GET RID of the plants...but come on DYSON AGAIN!!!!...It seems after all the demonstrations they should have vacuumed up every particle of dust and debris ON THE ENTIRE PLANET!!!!

Oh but Stevie...I'm sure there are all those new spring hair cleansing scents to unveil ---yes there will be a definite frenzy on the forums...."can't wait".....
Well ya gotta give moms some credit......the Muppets are a definite IMPROVEMENT over some of the past "celebrity guests"....Kdash comes to mind as one.....
Well at least there are the Irish shows to look forward to...at least its something different...although they show a tad too many sweaters....I have purchased some of their home decor pieces of Belleek (an angel, and a kitty candy dish ) and bought some lovely agate earrings, and a Waterford vase....and the people are charming....and some of those Irish singers are cute....
The Q is BEYOND NEXT.....How I wish moms was ROLLING BACK the prices at Wally World once again.....

Hi KS....
Now don't get me wrong about Bose....I have a Bose and bought it at the Outlet Mall at the Bose store....I got a good deal and love to listen to my CD's and favorite radio stations on it---great sound! And love love love that it's made in the USA!!!!
....
BTW you ladies missed a historic event......I was flipping through the channels trying to get to JTV or the NFL Network.....and there was the Storm Trooper singing the song "People" (in honor of Bose I guess).....couldn't switch to another channel fast enough....a definite first....now I've heard some of the host sing, but now the vendors are singing as part of Q's "entertainment".....heaven help us!.....

I'm not even sure The Mart is the place for moms... I'm thinking Big Lots should be her next victim... far fewer stores, far less damage she can do...
Yes, that man of mine strikes me as bloated. If ever an entity seemed full of hot air, he would define that entity...
Now, as for that Twitter account, I assume one is easily established...
But having checked out Twitter from time to time, I have to admit that it would SO not be my thing... Then again, neither is FB... Social Media just doesn't impress or interest me all that much, regardless of how apparently 'central' to life on this planet it's become...
I suppose I'll take the Muppets over the 'Trashians' but really, isn't there a middle ground, and really, couldn't the OMQ do a better job of finding it... and across the board....?
Yes, the cycle of programming (and re-programming) grows shorter and shorter. How could it not, given the continuing mass exodus of vendors? I suppose soon, to the extent that we don't already..., the Q will have days dedicated to the seven specific vendors they've managed to retain and anything other than the Big Seven will represent 'special' programming... And related, although I'm one of those that likes Lisa and realize that Gili is QVC's product more than it's hers, it's really become just another house brand they roll out far too often... but then why would 'fashion' be managed any differently than any other product area on QVC, all of which suffer from increasingly constricted and limited choices, except, possibly, 'beauty'...
I'll be waiting anxiously for the not-so-charming Prince of Soapless and his printemps offerings... oy..., you know, so I can turn the channel, and perhaps get a chuckle or two as I shake my head in amazement at the laughable posts set forth by his coterie of disciples...
As for the Irish, yes they are charming and it is something different, but I guess I'm one of those that finds a little goes a long way, so am not among the ilk lamenting that it isn't twenty four full hours of the lilt...
Do enjoy your new flameless and next time there's another Bose marathon, and let's face it, given moms' level of creative programming that shouldn't be too far down the road..., just remember not to try to blow out your flame with the speakers... Really, better you just switch over to SHQ, as I did yesterday. While the Q was featuring whatever tedium, they were actually featuring gemstones.... Just imagine!
As for interventions for TPTB, it's too late... They've past the point of no return. The only solution, it seems, would be for the board to initiate a mass house cleaning and it doesn't appear that's going to happen. So, I suppose, we need simply accept that until the bottom completely falls out and hopefully someone is able to step in and rebuild from the ground up, what we see is what we get... Sad as that might be...

OMG, please don't tell me that now there will be spring scents from the Prince!?
By the way, that hair cut/style of his is something else, what I don't know....
. The boards will light up for sure!
I like the Irish shows, and have a good bit of Belleek in the shamrock/basketweave pattern. My mother started giving me pieces after her trip to Ireland years ago, and always gave me a piece at birthday and Christmas. And then one year she gave me a curio cabinet to display my Belleek. And I have picked up some nice pieces at the QVC outlet store. But, again, QVC does not offer much new. Sort of same old same old.
Ugh, KDash, those people are horrible
and that is being polite. The Muppets are a definite improvement over the Kartrashians.

"To close out this most Unexciting day its Big Bonanza Silver Sale-----nothing that would leave you SPELLBOUND (and oscar nominee but not a winner btw)....it is supposed to be "new" but I see many things Ive seen many times---tricolor hoops, drusy dangle earrings, watches that look very familiar"
I remember when QVC had all new merchandise on the Gold and Silver days!
