@San Antonio Gal wrote:I wonder how the Jane fans feel about the excessive honey name calling.
@San Antonio Gal It gags me. She is obnoxious. I don't know how she sells anything.
I called customer service about it. Told the woman I spoke with to forward my complaint to management. Can't stand when every other word out of her mouth is "my honey".Why put yourself through such angst by continuing to watch her?
Changing the channel is not going to change things, hence the need for viewers to speak up about this ridiculous "honey" business (and despite the fact she heard that viewers didnt like it, she mentioned she would still continue to do it---)....And it's annoying when you are interested in an item in the show but have to change the channel because of a host's attitude, and QVC loses a sale....and with sales declining QVC needs to remedy the situation to keep their customers...
It seems that her sales figures, and popularity, outweigh the small number of posters who keep complaining, and allow her behavior to raise their blood pressures. No item for sale would be worth that, in my opinion.
What Jane is doing has less to do with raising blood pressure and more to do with blatant disrespect for long time QVC customers. She is clearly saying I am entitled, my job is secure, and I don't give a ****** what customers, who have spent thousands with this company, think.
My being a chiild and acting out is more important than that. That's just not okay and eventually I believe it will affect David's likeability if it hasn't already. If QVC won't tell her to stop, then David should. She is doing him no favors.
And more and more it comes through when David is cohosting with her he says something that indicates he is a bit annoyed with this "honey" business....It seems like QVC's Legal Department would also be concerned in this age of political correctness and sensitivity this could be construed to be a form of "harassment/ inappropriate language"...not by David, but by viewers themselves 🤔
not to mention the disrespect shown to her husband. What kind of husband would approve of his wife calling another man "my honey " on national television?

@SamBrown wrote:@BalletBabe I don't think in this business that anyone gets to "request" prime time.
There are a few hosts and vendors that I don't care for so I don't watch them. Just because I don't like them doesn't mean a lot of other people don't like them. Why the need to say awful things about people makes no sense to me. Everyone can't like everyone.
@SamBrown Anyone that enjoys watching someone brag constantloy, never take a breath, be loud and carry on like a teen enjoy. I will never watch her. She is the only Host that I will NOT watch. If she threatens to leave they would leave her on Prime Time IMO. I don't see how she sells anything. Make up Venders need to start complaining. I would never buy make up from a Host that puts it on and looks worse then before she started

I have a hard time watching VP. She seems pushy albeit in a quiet manner.

@Nancy Drew wrote:David was laying it on a little thick. Valerie wanted to describe her items and not have to keep saying thank you endlessly for his compliments. It wasn't a great match IMO.

That is exactly what I was thinking as I watched the show...one compliment...okay...maybe two. But every fourth sentence was one and it started to sound very fake. I think Valerie even got a bit tired of it!!

But it's pretty "Made in China junk" and my house is filled with her items. Many, many compliments on my home thanks to Valerie's items.

Please stop. Be kind.
Everyone has an opinion on every host. Those you don't like are cherished by others. All this negativity is exhausting.
Customers are encouraged to provide feedback. In fact under the WELCOME GET STARTED topic, under Guidelines, we are encouraged to participate as QVC strives to improve the customer experience, and they ask us to pass on our solutions, tips, and suggestions.
Viewers opinions on this Forum are similar to all the surveys companies retailers, to doctor's offices, to restaurants, to plumbers, to auto mechanics----- they all want input and ask "how are we doing?" "What suggestions do you have on how we can improve and make things better", "what did you like, " "what didn't you like"......So This Forum is a gathering place of information like a survey.
Also, ALL jobs have an evaluation process to share what employees are doing right, and also areas that have opportunities for improvement so an employee can perform at their highest level. Moderators will remove any comments that are out of line and they consider to be unkind. If this type of thread and conversation bothers you, you can always skip the thread. If you are looking for more of a "host fan club vibe", the host QVC Facebook and Instagram Pages are the place to be.
