For me, I think it depends on the person's skin tone and shape of lips. Very personal choice.

I am not talking about Courtney. I am speaking to trends in general. If the trend doesn't flatter you don't do it. Wait for a trend that does look nice on you. The cat eye is big right now. On my eyes it would look awful while I love it on others.

Same here.  I've tried to do the cat eye but doesn't work on me as my eye shape is totally round which is hard to do liner on period. I read in a MU tutorial that almond shape eyes are the best for a good cat eye.

For the most part I think people who line their lips are more into makeup than the rest of us.  Lining lips looks like you're wearing makeup even when you're trying to look natural.

I wear makeup but I always go for a natural, understated look.  I wear tinted gloss most of the time; more color when I'm dressed up.  I never line my lips.

Courtney ALWAYS looks glammed up.  Apparently that's her thing.

@Nancy Drew  I have an GF that wears a  black Cat eyeliner. She is 70 years old and not a good look. It looks too harsh.  I wouldn't say anything as her business. I like it on younger women though.

Courtney has said that she knows her makeup style borders on drag but that's how she likes it, so ...whatever floats her boat.
