I'm a longtime viewer . The Q has done various things for hosts over the years . They gave JRT a baby shower, which were gift items from the Q inventory . They had another newer host ( can't think of her name at the moment ) & her fiancée on the show for a special pre-bridal program . I think it's just random IMO & more about getting viewers to watch & shop ....... no worse than the FB customer relations outreach program . I think Courtney is a good host ; she gives details on items , and doesn't mind sharing clothing measurements / fit , to help customers make decisions .....several of the hosts do the same . However, others don't like to share that info , and it's the last thing they'll talk about .... yet they'll talk endlessly about " The Hamptons " . Like that's going to help me choose an item , lol. Courtney is also professional , but adds humor when it's appropriate & needed to enliven the program at times. There are some things I find annoying & would like to see changed tho . Guess we all have our different complaints !

I recall hearing one of the hosts remarking she had been here sooo many years and just recently got her own "show." It seems all the hosts put a lot of preference in having their own show with their own name. Nothing new, just the name. It makes me think what companies will do when they don't want to give you a raise: give you some kind of perk like a title or best parking spaces, nicer office, etc.

Courtney it seems has gotten more attention and risen to the top with LR very fast. Like groomed. She doesn't have her own show, but being with LR and sidekicking with her in the Hamptons & Red Carpet shows choice from someone. My sense is LR would have something to do with these selections. She likes both Courtney and Alberti who seem to be groomed particularly. I think both have connections.

I really hate that QVC is shoving Courtney and her wedding down our throats .... I guess I'll be watching less QVC this season!

In all fairness I watched the food show with Courtney today and I must say she did an excellent job. No goofy valley girl lingo or hipster sayings or crazy food faces, just the facts. I think this woman is very talented and could one day replace the aging LR. I'm not interested in her wedding, but I'm sure the younger women will be. I don't believe she's connected other than LR has taken her under her wing like she did with Amy before she got pregnant.

I saw the food show and laughed when she suggested the ham "for your Thanksgiving, Christmas or Hanukkah table!"

I know jews who eat ham, but probably not so much at the Hanukkah table. I didn't catch that though.

I believe that allowing us to know and get involved in a hosts personal life is a big mistake on QVC's part concerning their role in keeping business and personal separate for the safety of the employee's. After all that has happened to Lisa over the year's, wouldn't they have learned a lesson? If I were a new host, I would not allow them to plaster my private life on air or on screen or any website, like Facebook, etc.

With the millions of viewers, the exposure could lead to devastating trauma, as it has for Lisa.

I can't believe QVC would use their employee's for gain and expose them to such possibilities.

I'm sure it's flattering for the host, but come on, do they need the problems Lisa has suffered over the years and still suffers?

Dumb all the way around.

It seems maybe they're trying to do everything they can to push Courtney out there. Perhaps they think this is a way to improve perceptions about her, since she's clearly another one of those hosts who seems to polarize viewers. Personally, I don't see it turning fans into fanatics nor do I see it enticing those who don't care for her into her camp. Just more Q marketing, it seems... If they had more products worth marketing, to me, that would be a better bet. This is a shopping destination, after all... isn't it...?

Jennifer Coffey is such an excellent host, yet the Q does nothing to promote her. The more they try and shove the personal lives of the hosts down our throat, the less I watch. I've pretty much limited myself to a couple of the jewelry shows these days as it is. And now that the Jovella shows are over, I'll probably watch even less.

Dear QVC: I don't give a hoot about the personal lives of your hosts….I did, however, used to care about some of the products you carry. But your current focus is really a turn-off….at least for me.

I like Courtney and think she has a good sense of style even when she's stuck wearing some of the Q stuff......she's the one I tune in to see what she's wearing. It doesn't bother me that the Q is promoting her wedding.....if nothing was said, people on this board would be speculating all over the place wondering this, that, and whatnot (and you know that would happen).

I wish her and her fiancé the best!!!
