I totally agree!!! There is too much personal info shared with viewers and really, I am not sure that anyone really cares.....

No one has eluded that she is soliciting gifts. You people read so much into simple statements.

I wish her luck, but who cares? They have probably been living together anyway. I'm not her friend or relative. She is getting married on my husbands birthday and his birthday is important to me.

Marketing ploy, a shameful one, at that. Q is using her wedding to push some ordinary, merchandise. It has nothing to do with Courtney or her wedding. It's just stuff.

She has admitted to living together for 2 years. I am sure some viewers will send her a card, maybe a gift or money. Sooo sad. They are not our friends.

Yes, they live together. She has mentioned it several times particularly on the kitchen shows. Now I just change the channel. All of this wedding stuff for her is so fake.

Notwithstanding, the fact that QVC is asking viewers to pay for a video of a host's wedding is tacky ... HSN would never do this.
There are actual viewers that would actually pay for a copy of a wedding video? omg, this is creepy!

I will probably tune in to the Say Yes to the Dress episode featuring her. Q probably footed the bill for her dress. I'm sure she's being comped a lot of things for her wedding by allowing Q to promote it as they are.
ITA and think this is as cheesy and sleazy as Star Jones and we all know how that marriage and JOB ENDED!
I am sick and tired of hearing any bit of personal information about any of these hosts but especially their families and personal lives.
If one of them mentions they play tennis, it is interesting. Another might someday mention a good book they've read but I've not heard any single one of them ever do that!!!! Hearing one of them plays bridge is always of interest as is mentioning a good recipe WITHOUT TASTE TESTING with the accompanying lip smacking and talking while chewing as they all so rudely do (Jill Bauer's accompanies hers with the most disgusting grunts and groans).
It is cheap for them to beg people to go to their Facebook pages BUT THAT is where any personal information belongs....not here or on the air imo!
I liked Courtney as a host but she has cheapened and tarnished herself with this publicity stunt.

It figures. When people have lived together as man and wife they make a mockery of the sacrament of matrimony as do those who support, participate and encourage it.
A couple I know lived together for some time, buying a house and living as a married couple. They finally decided to get married but did it tastefully and quietly having a very small lovely ceremony in Santa Barbara and the "bride" did not make a complete fool of herself by having a big fancy lavish wedding complete with the white dress, bridesmaids, etc.
It is really tacky when people want the "dream wedding" and one of them is divorced with children!
