I'm surprised I wasn't banned. I left the boards for a couple of months and no one noticed. Haha that's how important we are to each other.
but seriously, what I learned was to take nothing personally on a community forum.
It is difficult to take the high road when someone is insulting you but I have learned through the years not to take the bait and I move on to another thread.
it is my nature to have knee jerk reactions sometimes. I have to fight against that. Your comment is spot on. Don't take the bait

I actually find the condescending "Non Issue" to be much, much more offensive than most other comments.
It's basically telling a fellow poster, an equal, that their thoughts or comments have no value.

I feel the same way about the "who cares" comments.

Yes, the "Who Cares" are equally condescending.
If I'm interested in the topic, I will often respond "I, for one, care."

There was an old Law and Order episode called "Nowhere Man" that starred Steve Schirripa as a criminal figure ( you'd recognize this actor)....He ran with another criminal and the two men were referred to as "Biscuits and Books" ( thier character names were Biscotti and Libretti in this episode....)
He is being interviewed by the detectives and DA ...and when asked, he refers to an elderly woman who lived above his social club, who allowed the criminals to use her phone to make untapped phone calls, "some old bag that lived above the joint...."....
I loved that actor Steve Shirippa from "The Sopranos" days....! ( Bobby Baccalieire)
That's what I think of when I hear that term!!!!
Back to regularly scheduled forum.

I agree about the "Who cares" responses, finding it extremely dismissive.
Clearly, someone cares or the poster wouldn't have raised the issue. You might not agree with a topic but, if you don't care about it personally, just move on. Making a sarcastic, dismissive post serves no purpose other than to imply the respondent's superiority of mind (IMO).

My opinion on this hasn't changed in years. Constructive comments on programming, inventory or other issues with QVC are helping.
But, negative comments about the hosts or vendors have no place on these forums. Most of it is just bullying and no matter what changes or not they make, there will be still those who don't agree.
There are negative comments about the bodies, hair, nails, speech patterns etc about actual humans......this is a NO GO as far as I am concerned.
If you don't have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself.
You don't get paid to critique hosts and vendors.
