@shoekitty  Years ago this software revamped somehow.  We were able to give hearts suddenly.  Viewpoints disappeared so we switched over to CC.

At that time people asked for a separate music forum but we were told it couldn't be done with the software or something.  When CC disappeared, the Inside Q forum magically appeared.  I don't think that was a coincidence.

There was a hidden Games forum, too.  I wonder if that still exists.

@tansy  they started revamping the forums in 2010. I remember that, as we lost number of posts as well I remember. Then after complaints I think they went back and we got some posts back. Then they added catagories, like honor, contributor, esteemed contributor, etc to our names. And viewpoints became Community Chat, and little by little they added  little niches for post catagories. I was posting on this forum since almost the beginning. I know I had different nickname for a while, because I didn't even know what was a nickname was , lol many of us were posting with our email addresses, until we were notified. But that didn't last long. Oh the memories.  I am trying to remember, was it around  1998 the forum began? I seem to remember there wasn't a lot of online shopping then, but there was was a forum and news, etc.

one thing I do remember was the trolls.  It was rampant before they fixed forums. And advertising!!!   These trolls with one post would come on, especially weekends when they knew it wouldn't be monitored. They would say awful things.  Then they would get banned, then sign on with another name ...and go on forever.  That glitch was fixed as well.  Forums have a pocket a long way. Now to find out, what happened to our CC. They might have needed more space for Q magazine. Lol

I'd forgotten how upset people by the member rankings until we figured out it was done by the number of postings.

i don't recall that new sub-niches were added.  I do remember being told that new categories like music or arts and crafts could not be added 🤷‍♀️. Doo-b-doo, can't remember how she spelled her nic, was into tech and said it was a poor choice of software,

@tansy  I remember in the pre added catagories days ( pre 2010). There were just several catagories, like beauty Fashion, Viewpoints, kitchen, jewelry, and one other big catagory similar to among friends.  I know they added tv movies, wellness, among friends, handbags, travel and such. That was 2010. I think viewpoints was the main catagory for everything. Hmmm, I just can't remember when the forums started

I imagine the Q powers that be decided to let the thread go for some reason. Without any hoopla, announcement explanation or notice.  Maybe the intent was that if it just didn't work well one day, posters would not protest and bombard their email box with complaints. The odd thing is with no explanation, I haven't heard of any poster contacting IT, or social team, etc at all.  At least one who contacted  the Q, and RECIEVED an answer.  Because if anyone heard a response, we would have known. Has anyone out there actually contacted QVC about this? . I haven't.  It is possible to get in CC, and I get into my Eagle Cam thread by clicking my profile, finding my thread and going in from there.  The issue is not so much getting in, once you get in to a specific post and reply, you cannot stay on CC you have to go thru the process all over again

FYI...I have contacted the social team in the Customer Care thread (read first pinned post there titled...Community Technical Issues). The most recent message to me, dated 9/1/25 from Anjalena was that she would be reporting the issue to the IT department. I hope it was done, she said she will have an update soon. Who knows how long that will be though. So, such response is known for all who read the thread. Take a look. Thanks.

Post in Among Friends and QChat.

It's elimination is probably not worth the worry and angst when options exist.  Let it go.

Just get use to posting elsewhere.

I think the probs w/CC are just another symptom of the probs w/QVC.

It takes about a minute to come up. I take a peek occasionally, no biggie.

That would maybe be tolerable if you could move from thread to thread without being tossed out.  @Estellee
