how long does an item stay on clearance? I bought one item on clearance and would like to order another. I'm waiting for the item to arrive to see if it fits before I order another one but I don't want clearance price to expire. Do they keep items on clearance until they sell out or is it for a limited time?

I believe the item is discontinued and will stay at that price until it sells out.

@EZ shopper - Clearance pricing at QVC is pretty inconsistent. Typically, an item will stay at the same clearance price for quite awhile, but prices sometimes increase by a few dollars as sales for the associated category expire (e.g., for Christmas in July or another special event). On the flip side, sometimes an item will have a "clearance sale price" applied that temporarily reduces the price by a few dollars, but it will revert to the previous clearance price when the specified timeframe—usually not communicated to customers—ends. If you add an item to your wish list and check it each day for 7-10 days, it can be interesting (or annoying) to see these fluctuations.

ETA: But as @Zhills noted, a clearance price of any kind indicates that the item is not going to be reordered, so if you're afraid of missing out on something, don't wait.

Also, take into account the fact that the item is on clearance and the item might sell quickly. The size or color you want may no longer be available several days from now.

If you call CS, they can probably tell you how many items are left in inventory, so you can make an informed decision.
