still in the holiday spirit and christmas is not over for me. this is my most favorite time of the year and the time of the year when i feel my best.

we are still having fun, entertaining guests, and having family time more than any other time of the year. our tree and decorations wont come down until the 2nd week of january probably. epiphany is the 6th.

love everything about this time of the year and the feelings it creates. a time of love, peace, togetherness, spirit, and good will. i try to spread it around as much as possible.

hope you all have a wonderful 2023 ahead!

Well Said @sunshine45 . I too love this time of year for all the reasons you stated and more. Seeing family more, entertaining, baking, cooking, decorating, the music, the love. The best time of year.  Enjoy watching CIJ. Get a lot of decorating ideas.  It is not a commercialized time of year for me.  The holidays are what you make of them.

I love Christmas and the season, and I do buy a few things during CIJ.  The “gift” part is not hard for me, we have drastically reduced our family gift giving, and it’s mostly just a few practical items so it does not cause me stress.  I don’t watch QVC 24/7 so I may occasionally watch a decor or food show, but it doesn’t bother me that so much programming is on CIJ through now.

My favorite time is nightime enjoying my tree / lights.  It’s already packed away.  I don’t need one more decoration or Christmas themed anything.

I will enjoy the upcoming spring shows, as winter is my least favorite season.  After Christmas, I really look forward to springtime in PA.
