The OP didn't say that QVC ruined Christmas nor did he/she state when he/she made the purchased the items. Only mentioned was QVC's guarantee to have items delivered by 12/24 which the OP found not to be true.

I ordered a gift item in November (3rd week) and apparently it's lost in NC. The item is sold out so can't just order another. My money was immediately refunded after calling. It's just a gift and not life or death! Nothing to get hysterical over. It will not ruin Christmas as gifts are not what it's all about. Things happen with so many packages that need to be delivered. Once a package leaves QVC or the manufacturer's warehouse, how can it be their fault? They guarantee Christmas delivery and really think it will happen. I really think UPS has dropped the ball again after last year's fiasco. Our local news had a segment saying it wasn't too late to send things for Christmas delivery and in most cases yes but things do happen and there is now absolute guarantee and everyone should realize that by now.

Why oh why do shoppers order at the last minute only to complain when QVC, UPS, or USPS lets them down.
