@stellabystarlight    With all due respect, prices  are not coming down, on anything.  anywhere, anyplace.  That is just a fact of life,

I agree and I believe that this is why people are not shopping as much.  With the economy the way it is a lot of people are struggling to buy food and gas. Not a whole lot of money left for ordering things on line.

@sunshine 919 I agree.  I have a part time job at a Hallmark store (thanks to Covid).  Not only did the owners close one of their stores a few months ago, the store I work in has been sooooooo slow.  I don't think the owners are even making a profit.

Funny you should mention Hallmark, we have only one where I live.  I was just in there last week.  I usually go for wedding gifts.  They are pricey but for weddings I do go there. I am not sure how they stay open.  Back in the day Hallmarks were so busy any time of the year.  Especially Christmas, they had lovely ornaments.  Customer service is always nice.

Re: Chapter 11 Filing Confirmed Today

I think QVC doesn't gouge thier prices. They set them at normal retail. Their pricing reflects future sales, discounts coupons and such.  I quit watching Q on TV in 2003. At that time and from the time I started watching in 1987 they didn't offer discounts, sales or coupons. Regular pricing all the time. Except for TSV, or a one time only ....we paid full price. Once a year starting 1992, in January they had a few hours of clearance, usually jewelry. That was it. You always knew that what you paid now, woukd be the same next month.  everyone paid the same.  QVC, is a huge enterprise, but in no way are they a Costco or Walmart. Do they offer better, worse or (on a par with Walmart, Costco, Target) quality ?  That is for you to judge   In the last 5 months things have really gone up....again!!  Sometimes it takes a while to see increased pricing. They buy shipment one price, then sell it out, they reorder, new shipment has price increase..it is passed on. The blouse or pants  you bought in Sept, might not show the increase for 4-6 months. But...we see it.
