Thanks for your permission to spend my own hard earned money as I like!
Thank goodness we have no rules limiting the amount of personal wealth you may accumulate.
Your IRAs and 401ks and savings accounts may appreciate that.

I just thought of celebrity brand that saved their life. Joan Rivers, for one. She was left broke, out of work, etc. Debbie Reynolds's sold all kinds of stuff, and worked to pay debts off.there are more, who lost careers, but survived on a good idea.
I think people like Harrison Ford, Al Pacino, Kevin Bacon, Ben Stiller,Jack Nicholson, *NSYNC, BILLY JOEL and many other actors and celebs were wiped out by bad agents, CPA's, managers. And yes, fell prey to scams and investments. But mainly theft in the names I mentioned. They had to hustle, take work they didn't like, panned by audiences, lol. Worked and worked. The good ones survived to go on. But many didn't. There is a flip side to everything.

i like what you said!
I doubt most of the people employed are in the U.S.A. I'd be all for celebrities who would invest in U.S.A jobs rather than sweat shops and child labor factories elsewhere.

@Sooner , that's why I don't purchase clothing here. There used to be American made clothes here, not since 2003. I think the HONESTY BRAND employs people here in US. And she had stuff made here. What people don't realize is you can buy clothes , made here for same price as QVC, especially on sale I just bought tops, sewn, designed, and factory in here in my state, the fabric made in Georgia , dyed in SoCal. lol. Makes it rounds. 49 bucks, free ship, free returns if needed...I never have. I also got clearance on lissatheshop for 29-89 bucks. If they have your size. Supports people who actually live and spend their money here

@SilleeMee lol, I figured. I don't begrudge her what she is doing. I know she isn't making big money believe me. IDK why exactly she has done this, but guessing. Wants to get out of her area, try something, or she is helping friend, she really cares about doing this, or tax write off, something to do, maybe fun for her. She raises enough money for charities, they give money. Btw I am sure all the Hilton name isn't hers, or her husbands. Every woman wants to try something new. Who knows. I don't watch, but someone thought it was a good idea. And sadly, we here on the forums are drop in the ocean when it comes to viewership and buying. lol. Our opinions are oft for naught. lol! jMHO. Nothing else

Our country is extremely upside down on income and that is not good.
Pay your d@mn taxes at least.

One of QVC's stated strategies was to bring in more "celebrity" lines thinking that's what would attract customers.
Along the way I think what they forgot was that customers want quality, value, and convenience.
