Maybe not really a catchphrase, but some certain host says ALL the time something like " It will only cost you a 23 dollar bill" , or "the first payment is a 37 dollar bill"; what is that? It is completely ridiculous. She is older than me, and if I heard a salesperson talking like that at Macy's or Bloomingdales, I would look at them like they had two heads and likely question their intelligence. 🙄

That host believes she is a mad, cool, quirky, wordsmith. Woman Very Happy

@jackiejenny, She has claimed that she is a "wordsmith." There's no doubt she knows what she's doing with her dollar bill comments. She does have a degree. Negative attention is just as good as positive attention....

Amy, it should be $80 but you’re getting it for $78! She says it for every item.

Then goes on to say if you bought it out in the retail world you would add a one in front of it.

Another catch phrase is "Is that price right.  They didn't make a mistake because the price is so low.  Harry check if the price listed is the correct one."

"Right" at the end of everything said.
"Can I just say?"

"I can't even . . ."  (nothing more)

"Vote for Customer Beauty Awards" (But never tells us where?)

"Free S&H today" and "X Easy Pays until the end of the day!"

Tik Tok seems to be her source of information.

"Talk to me about this . . ." Is she ever ready to explain an item herself?

Her snakey/spidery hands with faux baubles need to be still; too distracting.

Desire for others to use her made-up name on air. (Not working.)

Mentioning guests' name often; repeating what they just said to fill time.

In short: nothing out of her mouth is interesting or important to the show!

Money screams; wealth whispers.

Re: Catch phrases

[ Edited ]

I hate when a host says bucks instead of dollars. It sounds so low class to me. Shawn is famous for it but now I have heard Kourtney say it too. It's not 50 bucks; it's 50 dollars, Trying to sound cool and casual I guess but what's cool about saying bucks?

I'm hearing a lot lately the phrase, "only order of the year".

Interesting advice. Now why aren’t you out taking a walk? @bells4me

I agree with you Manny2.  It amazes me that people who believe that they are above it all have time to read all of the posts and make comments.
