A few months ago, I noticed how often hosts would use phrases like, “busy moms”, “at a garden party, baby shower, or graduation”, “when you are on the boardwalk or at an amusement park”…….Too much!
Now, in early September, the phrases have changed slightly to include “busy moms”, soccer games, apple picking, pumpkin patch, driving the kids around….Too much! 😂. Have I forgotten any of your “favorite” Q catch phrases??
Happy Labor Day weekend, everyone (especially the busy moms”.

Yesterday morning during the first 10 minutes of her presentation of the TSV boots,  Pat used the phrase  "that's the beauty of it" six times.  I counted then turned the TV off.

@Kachina624  She finds a phrase she likes and repeats and repeats. What bugs me more is either her intonation or maybe it's that she stresses certain syllables on words that shouldn't be stressed. I can't figure out what she is doing with her voice but I can't listen for more than a few minutes.

It's autumn. How many hosts (and guests) are unable to pronounce "pumpkin" and "autumn" correctly?

And the incorrect grammar is running rampant. Doesn't anyone at QVC care about their speech any longer?

@Janey2.  Then the other hosts pick it up and soon they're all saying," that's the beauty of it".  Now it has crept over to HSN.

@BirkiLady. Yes, but they've improved immeasurably on "ochre" instead of okra.

There is one host that frequently says "Here's the key" when she is going to point out an advantage of a product.  I don't want to say who because it is considered "bashing". But start listening. This person says "Here's the key" often.

Pop of color and ladies who lunch and something about 5th ave. These are old ones, so maybe they don't say them anymore, as I rarely watch I don't know about new ones.

@mormel20. You must mean the one 2ho constantly says, "Here's the thing".
