I thought her line was awful! the colors are terrible--not my thing---never heard of her before either.

Forgot to mention, I bought the cropped swing jacket in the putty color.

Re: Carla oversized items

[ Edited ]

The oversized  look is not for me . I do like the  green color items but not the style.

Carla and Alina are into the over sized big time !

Last yr, I did buy  Carla's shirtstyle long floral dress for a special occasion which I received many compliments  and the l leopard  skirt . I also bought  two  3/4 lurex sweaters  from her line .

She's never had any appeal to me.

Last time I bought a  "swing style " jacket was in 1980 .  My Grand Mother said  the swing style was  reminiscent of what she wore  in the 1940's.

Looks like her selling point is "more is better", down to the glasses which to me look ridiculous.  But...to each their own...

Just took a look at her line and saw nothing remotely attractive.

And the oversized look can be very 'sloppy' at times, fitted is usually much more flattering.

Unfortunately Alina has stated she's not doing oversized anymore and if you want that look you have to order up a size.

I am in my 70's and buy quite a few of her sweaters and blouses because I look best and love her bright colors.  I am still active in business and the tops I buy give me a modern look. The dolman sleeves and shorter tops look better on me than tunics with wide leg pants, which are my favorite right now. I need a break from tunics. I pass on her lounge wear and pants.  I agree with others, they are all too volumous.  Four of her coats are in my closet -love the colors and styles.   For me, the items I choose to buy really perk up my wardrobe.
