Cannot ship to California?

Let me start by saying I'm uncertain if this is QVC's problem, but I don't know so I'm posting to find out if anyone else has experienced a problem of being unable to purchase an item because of the state you're living in.

I attempted to purchase online H-167189, a Tiffany style lamp. When I got to checkout I got a message saying I would not be able to order it due to "shipping restrictions."

I called a customer service rep who informed me the item could not be shipped to California. Hmmmm......I've ordered two Tiffany style lamps in the past and there was no such restriction. It's not like it's a plant and the State of California doesn't want them coming in because it might carry some pest or disease.

Anyone else had the same problem?
