As I scan topics, I haven't found one person who says they like the new change.  The font is difficult to scan through, making it hard to find threads you're looking for.  So far, in my view, QVC needs to hang their heads in shame!  I don't see this making their customers happy.  It's my bet many will find other places to chat.  They seem to be doing more, and more things to upset and anger customers.

I think it can grow on you if you give it a chance.  But no this hasn't been one of my favorite upgrades and I'm pretty pro Q.

It's not been hard figuring everything out you do have to get in and play with your settings.

I've said it and seen it in several threads.

Sorry you're unhappy, but please don't assume that everyone is. I like the new changes. I love that I can now upload a picture to a post without having to host it on a third party site.

I like that I have more options to customize my user experience and change my default font size.

I like love that they've added the Strikethrough font option and have added a spoiler option so that people can post things and hide spoilers from the people who don't want to see them.

I love that post drafts are autosaved, so that when I accidently click on keys that take me away from my posting page, I can go back and my content is still there. That's a huge improvement for me, as I lost a lot of posts before.

I also really like that when I visit a thread I've read before, it automatically takes me to the new posts and I don't have to start from the very beginning or the very end now.

Look harder.

Also, give the new boards a chance . . .

Click your way around.   Look under your settings.  Experiment.  Fail, then try again.

Give it some time.

Fancy features would not ever make me like something when basic ability to use is missing.  My 2 major issues:

(1) the font is Extremely difficult on the eyes, essentially unreadable. It is all very faint, light grey, and not something these old eyes can manage.  Changing the size (in preferences) doesn't help, may be big, but still is way too light to see.  And trying to change fonts within this reply doesn't change a thing. I really hate it when organizations discrimate against the visually impaired.

(2) I can't tolerate clicking on every single reply, one at a time, to read a thread.  I have not been able to find a preference where I could change that. If it is there, I would be appreciative of someone pointing that out.

I sure hope QVC is willing to make changes to make this forum usuable.  After decades using the forum, eliminating it from my life will be very difficult.  Also, I depend on the forum to get reviews about items I may want to purchase from QVC.

I don't have to click on every reply one at a time.  The replies are all there under each other to scroll down to read on my screen.  Hopefully someone can help you with this.  I didn't change my preferences for this.  It was always that way.  Now that Gamers have their own Forum I'm really liking the changes for all the reasons that Chynna Blue stated.

My business is training, not forums. We use software that uses tags, so I learned about the tags at work. Everything else I figured out based exploring, trying different things, and experience with previous forums. Exploring, trying different things, and previous forum experience are certainly not limited to me. We were all users of the old forum.

You won't learn if you don't try and, frankly, I'm seeing a lot of people here who are spending their time posting about how much they hate everything instead of trying to learn something new.

No offense but it's a well known fact that complainers are more visible.  Happy people usually don't have a lot to say, and many have no desire to have to defend themselves for not being unhappy.   I've been accused more than once of 'working for Q'   I wonder if they get a discount.

There are some very clear positives to the new format, but there is also a significant downside and hopefully some pretty serious tweaking ahead...  But not being one to gilt the lily, there are clearly problems and no, the transition wasn't (and isn't being) handled particularly well...  Of course, there will always be those falling all over themselves to be positive, usually in the most sanctimonious of ways... but the reality is that it isn't all good or all bad...
