Didn't there used to be pre-recorded cooking demos, makeup vendors' repeats, etc. today? I see nothing I'd watch for an hour here or there. It seems QVC and QVC2 have the the same shedule on both channels.

I can hear it now, "...do you know how much this cost us each year?"
obviously this is a cost cutting measure with the added benefit of a full day of sales even though they will be diminished because of the holiday.

Meredith Blue Jean Chef had fabulous cooking tutorials, I still follow her as she's very helpful.
Way back it was fun when there were hosts' families holiday vignettes.
Remember the QVC Host CD Christmas songs?
The gem guy that married Judy Crowell, Deasy? wrote and sang his song, it was very touching.

I remember years ago on Christmas Day a pre-taped segment of Antonella and Lisa Robertson sitting together I believe they had just finished doing a jewelery show, Antonella was going to teach Lisa how to make 'potato candy,' while Antonella was grating the potato in a bowl she also had a 5 lb bag of sugar sitting on the table and the two were having a really good time talking and laughing and all the while the producer kept talking in Antonella's ear piece complaining about why they needed so much sugar, finally Antonella stops what she's doing and looks at the camera and says, 'we're making candy for Pete's Sake' or something to that effect, anyway, I don't recall if they ever finished making the candy, I would have loved to see the end results, lol.

Going back further in time, I think that I remember Rick with his children when they were young, cooking or baking at home. Maybe Mary Beth with her family, too. Not sure. I do remember Laura Geller doing makeup on Sharon Faetsch.

Yes, I do remember watching Rick and his 2 young sons making Christmas cookies. I enjoyed watching the hosts and their families entertaining us on Christmas Day.

I like the new format. It was annoying watching hosts that no longer work at QVC cooking.

@PhilaLady1 I remember Carolyn Gracie taking us on a tour of her home and garden and I remember the yearly coverage of the Christmas Day Parade in Philadelphia.
