@GCR18  That is so true.

QVC is taking their decorations down?  This is Q Talk, so I'm assuming that's who you mean.  I'm watching it now, and there's a tree and other decorations in the background.  I can't imagine they'd be taking them down before Christmas.

I love Christmas.  It's my favorite time of the year.

This as been one of the most magical and special Christmas' I have ever had so far and we are still a few days away.  Blessings every aspect of my life and with all my loved ones.  Some years are just brighter than others but that is the way of life for any holiday or even on any day of the week in our crazy world.  I so love the happiness on so many faces I see out and about.

@olive oyl

I know what you mean....last year I was in a store and it wasn't even Christmas Eve yet, but they had already put out Valentine cards....Then people wonder why everyone is so stressed out all the time.  I wish there was a way that people would just take time to relax and enjoy all the seasons/holidays without rushing them along....Time flies so quickly as it is.............

Each day is what you make it and whether you choose to make Christmas too hectic and unenjoyable with expectations set too high that's up to you since you make the decision on how to spend the time and the day...If you hate it because of your own personal reasons, then at least find something to do that brings you a smile..........

Personally I LOVE Christmas and I think our family/friends have gotten over "the gift thing" and are on to other things regarding the Christmas season---the faith aspect of the holiday, the joyful spirit, the decorations, the lights, the music, and spending time together and doing something special for others that are alone or in need.......

If you HATE Christmas (or think its too commercialized) and can't wait for it to be over that's up to you.  And if you enjoy it--then a MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU-Enjoy!

Christmas is ONE DAY.  A very important day, yes.  Why does QVC devote 6 months, 7 if you include Christmas clearance a year to it?  ENOUGH!

hate to tell this folks---but starting right after july 4th---retail gets ALL the upcoming holidays in the doors. I worked retail for 12 yers and we got it all July 5th--helloween, t-day, xmas, new years and all the other ones for the new year. I saw the helloween stuff from Aug thru November as it was up somewhere in the store. Not a fan of holidays at all!!!!
