Don't you just love the mean comments?

Most people can disagree without being mean and snarky. But not here...you'll soon know the names of those who couldn't say a decent word even if it saved their lives.

In general, the ones with a negative comment are sharing disappointment. The more posters we belittle, the less posters will return and there goes The Forum.

I do very well buying "as is" - I honestly can't think of any I've returned.  I have returned items when I've received the wrong size in a bag that was the right size.

IMO QVC does very well considering the number of items sold.  And returned.  So they aren't perfect.  Who is?  Sort of like the post office.  The sheer volume makes me give them grace.

i totally understand the OP.  glad u expressed yourself!  don't listen to snark and come back on other forums!

the prices have gone up, there is no doubt about that. but they have everywhere not just here.

it is getting very difficult to find bargains and if you are home bound or have a difficult time getting out, then Q is a source.

but today, almost every store ships to home.

Choices!

i have had to return about 4 'as is' items over the last 5 years or so, so for me, its a win.

eg:  i needed a make-up organizer.  looked here and other places.... $30 and up.

went to Home Goods found one on clearance for $8, perfect condition.  saved over $20!

bargains are out there, but you cannot be in a hurry and have to search...time consuming.

for me, i did not need it ASAP, took me about a month to find it....

@Shanus  These are my feelings and observations as well, and have been for a long time now.  Well said.

Thank you to those who understand and had a kind comment. I loved QVC and it became an easy trusted place to purchase clothes... until it wasn't. It broke my heart a little. I know that sounds silly because it's a shopping channel but that's how I felt.

I haven't posted much over the years. I have poor vision and it's difficult for me to type. I didn't realize my three other posts were negative. I thought I left some positive ones too. I apologize.

God bless you all, including those who left snarky comments. A little unasked for advice- Be kind. You never know what someone behind an avatar and username is going through.💜

The main reasons why Q was good for me-

1. My vision stinks and it's hard to see colors. Denim & co colors mostly stayed the same over the years, making it easier to put outfits together.

2. QVC sizes used to be more consistent.

3. I knew how to work the app and could enlarge images and use a magnifying glass to get a good idea of what I was buying.

2. I don't drive so it was easy have my mailman pick returns up on my porch.

I worked in retail for years but never appreciated how much harder it is for vision impaired indiduals to shop. 💜

Alternate personalities? I honestly don't understand your comment. Are you referring to me. I'm Dawn. Always have been for 70 years.

Sorry for messing up my posts. I'm having all kinds of behind the scenes troubles posting. Pay no attention to the woman behind the curtain.  90.jpg
