Very boring in the northeast today on this beautiful sunny day
Just wasting time waiting for the football game to start. Why can't they start these games earlier.

i do some laundry, clean up, and get a lot of stuff done on sundays prior to watching the game. i cannot say that i am bored and yes it is beautiful, sunny, and COLD. a perfect day to stay in and get things done. going to start a batch of cream of butternut squash soup.
those on the west coast have to watch at odd times if they put the games on at noon or earlier. who wants to watch football while you are eating breakfast? others go to church or out for some errands in the morning and can then get home to watch the games.

It's a cold but sunny day here too. I'm making soup - pasta f a g ioli. I soaked the beans (one pound) in water overnight
I'll pass on the football games. KC has a clear shot to Super Bowl victory now, having passed what's likely to be their hardest test last week against the Bills..

I expected this post to be about Q and it was boring since it was under Qtalk. LOL. Just surprised?

I agree they start the games to assure the maximum viewing audience. I don't watch football, but I get the logic behind the scheduling. What I don't get is the outdoor stadiums in the coldest cities. Is anyone ever comfortable at these games?

DH and I do NOT watch football--never have, never will.
He left the house very early to be the first on the slopes--he skis every weekend in the Winter. When the sun shines, skiers call it a bluebird day.
I was outside with the dogs taking photos of them playing in the snow.
It is warm and cozy in my house, and all the cats are sitting in a different window, soaking in the sun.
I watched a few of the gold shows on ShopHQ, but I definitely do not need any more jewelry.
We still get the newspaper delivered, and the Sunday edition is full of interesting stories.
"Boring" is a state of mind.

I had many things to do until football started. Glad I was able to get everything done especially shoveling the snow. Sad that football season is almost over.

for me, i enjoy watching cold weather football versus hot weather football. LOVE watching them play in the snow and in the open air. it is a lot more exciting watching with more variables involved and versus being in a "perfect dome."
