A day of mostly suds making and silly hair fluffing.  Hardly riveting or the kind of programming that would cause people to eagerly sit by their TVs.  Why can't they just have one of these products interspersed with some fashion or jewelry?

Total snore.

I agree.  Many years ago, Q was always on for background noise. Now I can hardly tolerate it.... host antics, repeating products over and over and over, and non-competitive prices, are my primary reasons.

And HSN, my preferred channel, has CIJ all weekend.  Talk about boring!!!

Programming has a lot to be desired any more.  Glad I can change the channel when I want and been doing that more and more.  Cutting back on my spending as well.

I did buy the mercury glass votives for fall decorating.  That will be it for new holiday decorating this go round.  I like a new piece now and then to keep things looking fresh. But been moving more out than bringing it in.

I tuned into see what was being sold...it was the TSV and was wondering what the vendor was wearing (Dennis?). It was an interesting choice of clothing.

@Kachina624

I think they over saturate us at the convenience of the product Host who's there live for the day . Seems to me they could tape the shows with the vendor and sprinkle  show them on different days, however that  would interfere with their so called  antiquated TSV concept .

@Mom2Dogs

 yea, that  outfit may have been something from Nepal  or jungle book. I do buy his Frangipani  products but most of the time he talks as though he's some kind of  Indiana Jones  character combing through the jungle

@Kachina624   I see no way every item any retailer tries to sell to us would ever appeal to everyone.   I vowed to stop buying new jewelry years ago, even before LR left.  She sold lots to me over the years.  In the decade since that vow, I have spent close to nothing on anyone's jewelry.  Same with fall and winter clothes, decor for any holiday, or prepared foods.

Because I know I don't want more in those categories, that's what doesn't interest me.

There's nothing inherently boring about those things, but once again the cliche is true --  different things for different people.

HSN does not have the month long Christmas in July like QVC.

Only one weekend the entire month.

Otherwise,  lots of HSN Birthday specials and sales.
