Beware "Advance Order" Status

I realize this is probably a common occurrence and not just QVC but if you place an 'Advance Order' for an item like I did for the Nook the agreement is that you are charged after shipment. Well, if you use a debit card your bank account will still be hit for the authorization NOW so your money is going to be tied up for at least 3-4 days until it drops off. Just saying if you were cutting it close on your balance it has potential to be a problem, so be aware!
