I asked for an exchange , wrote qvc returns and they did get back go me in a timely manner , and that my item would be e changed for the shade I wanted . I checked my order later and saw I was being charged and it was NOT a free exchange !
I guess I'll just send my item back and forget it altogether . I've done this many times with no issues whatsoever so I'm not sure if policies have changed or not but I am not happy being charged. I went ahead and cancelled before it went further and I couldn't any longer . The pre approval will still be there though till it falls off. I dont appreciate a charge I didn't approve 😠

@Kitty Galore - Just a note: If what you saw was a second charge on the same order for your exchange, that's how they initiate the new order and connect it to the original order; this has happened for multiple exchanges I've requested over the past couple of years and I've never had a charge appear on my actual payment method—the "additional charge" has always just been in my order details.

@Kitty Galore. Did you call CS and ask for a refund? This is a common mistake.

Sounds like you should not have canceled it @Kitty Galore . Makes sense what @loriqvc described.

I agree with @loriqvc
It looks like you are being charged again, but in actuality, you are not.
It happened to me and I called. They explained that is how the system works to get the exchange going.
I was NOT charged twice.

I have done several exchanges and have never been charged a second time. As others have said, order status shows it doubled but if you look closely on the right it shows the doubled amount but below that it shows only the original amount.nYou will not be charged again.

I have never done an exchange with QVC---but I have a couple times with HSN and it was a breeze! I just did it online and by the next day or 2, the exchanged item was shipped to me and I had it within a week--I just packed up my original item and sent it back. No extra cost at all. And...I was notified as soon as the orig item was received. Tried once with QVC but they wanted it before anything new is shipped out--and what if in that week, that new item was sold out?? So I decided not to bother. Not sure what HSN moving to PA will do to that feature--but it was nice while it lasted---trying not to order much anymore--hate paying $$ to return it.
