I have 5 or six pieces of BD & not one has shed a thread.  I look for something else to blame.

@DasMEM2  you are absolutely correct to notice that the BFD cozy chic ultra lite sheds! It is my biggest complaint about this line, and I do have quite a few pieces from them. Their cozy chic ultra lite is the weakest link in their brand, and they DO need to fix it!

Ignore the other posters who say it's your fault or that you don't know how to launder. I am very careful about laundering this particular line, and the ultra lite from several pieces, bought at different times, shed and pill. On my seatbelt, on my violin case, on other clothing, on my dashboard--everywhere! I have avoided purchasing the ultra lite fabrication since then. The malibu and sunbleached lines do not shed if you're looking for alternatives.

You would have better results contacting the company directly; albeit, if you purchased through QVC, they need to be aware of the defect as well.

I've returned several Barefoot Dreams items to QVC because of the issue with shedding.  Even after they were washed, there were issues with shedding. It's embarrassing to be at work and have people ask where all those little fuzzies on the floor are coming from. 😂

@DasMEM2 I encourage you to continue to leave reviews on those items.  Also, watch the livestream page here at the top of the QVC website under the Watch tab for the Barefoot Dreams livestreams.  Very few people tune into those Barefoot Dreams livestreams, but it would be a good way to ask the representative questions or leave feedback.

I have an off white cardigan but it is embarrassing because iot sheds all over the car seats...............

I have not experienced any shedding with the BD pieces that I own.

Some items do in fact shed.  I get furious when they shed on my seatbelt and I then get fuzz on the next outfit I wear when I get in the car.  It's the Ultra Light that is the culprit.

Mine shed all over and I hate it. Picking up flecks of it on my flooring all the time. Also on car seats, furniture.etc. For what they charge that should never happen.

Mine are the charcoal color. I wash them in cold water on delicate cycle and lay flat to dry.
