I had 2 items on backorder, and was informed that I won't be getting either of them.  There was a mistake with the inventory.  I knew Waitlist items were not a sure thing, but I guess this goes for backorders, also. I am very disappointed with QVC.

As far as I'm concerned, wait list and backorder are the same thing.

@Carol08 I have had the same problem with Backorder & Waitlist items, after looking forward and being disappointed one too many times, I no longer place these type of orders, I just chalk it up to it was not meant to be.

CareBears - I will do what you do, and tell myself it wasn't meant to be.  That's easier on the emotions, and getting disappointed time after time after time.

Agreed.  And it means you'll receive someone else's return, not a new untouched item.  Depending on what you ordered, that could be ok.....or not.
