Back Order vs Check Status

For the second time in one week two orders I had on check status went to back order status. I transferred the orders to my CC and the money was deducted from my account only to have both orders show up as back ordered. Is QVC doing away with check status?What's the point of putting items on check status if they are going into back order status?

I really wanted those items now I won't get them til God knows when. Frustrating for sure.
