I knew this was going to happen some day with this pitiful shipping!  I got my bill today and 2 of the items on the bill I received today and yet I am being billed for an item I haved not even received yet!  QVC, this isn't right.....with this snail shipping we do not get a full 30 days to return an item if we choose to!  You have GOT to do something about your shipping and distribution centers.  I ordered Laura Geller's TSV and to my surprise I received it in 3 days, and it DIDN'T come from the CA distribution center around the corner from my house!  This is a pitiful way to run a business!  Amazon doesn't work like this..............................

@grooms  I'm really sorry about that.  Please email QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com and we'll be happy to track the order for you.

Re: BILLED BUT NO MERCHANDISE

Nor does Amazon run 3,  24 hour TV stations.  All they've got to do is pull orders and ship, yet my most recent Prime order took 5 days.  Bad comparison.

Re: BILLED BUT NO MERCHANDISE

I have grown weary with comparisons between QVC/HSN (Insert retailer) to Amazon. They are not the same. Nor do they have the same business model. I weigh each online retailer pluses and negatives and I choose to do business with them or I do not.

Re: BILLED BUT NO MERCHANDISE

Not to mention that they probably don't stock everything in every warehouse, so having a warehouse around the corner from your house probably makes no difference.

So why is this the Q's fault, every company has their billing dates.  You just happen to order something close to the statement date?

I don't know why you say Amazon doesn't do this, they are similar, when it ships it gets billed.  If you are referring to possibly Amazon's speedy shipping, that's different but go ahead and return the item and it still might be caught in the billing cycle.

Granted you might short pay your bill but what is the intent of ordering merchandise and then returning it.

Re: BILLED BUT NO MERCHANDISE

One of the most interesting things I read about Amazon recently is that they don't make money on the products they sell us.  They make their money on fees for the services they sell and on memberships, all of which supplement their losses elsewhere.

Not many businesses I know of can do that.  And, they charge for shipping upfront.
