Auto-Delivery on Backorder???

Has anyone else had this problem? I ordered an item on AD and received the first shipment. When the second shipment was due I received a letter saying it is not available at this time. I thought that was the idea of AD to always have it available for shipments. It is an item that should be used consistantly, now I have to order a different set and pay more. (Maybe that was they're plan)
