I had to return the red angel by Valerie, because it was defective.  I noticed this angel is now  an "As Is" Item.  Should I go ahead an order her and take a chance, or should I pass on her?

The decision is totally up to you.... I think you probably have about a 50-50 chance of getting an "as-is" item in good, workable shape.  That's just my humble opinion based on my ordering as-is items in the past.... if you don't mind the odds or having to return something... go for it you may get lucky!   good luck~!

I've had good luck with as is stuff.  You can return them as well.   LOL, it would be funny if you got the one you returned tho.

Actual defective items shouldn't be in as is.

I've ordered many as is items and only had a couple that were defective.  I'd give it a shot.  The worst that can happen is you have to bring it to the post office.

I have ordered several items (shoes, pressure cooker for example) and they were brand new, looked like the boxes had never been opened.

I have returned as-is if it's defective .... which is about 3 times.  I assume these reduced items were "shown on-air," or a customer return .... not damaged goods.  Apparently, a few slip through inspection!  I've only ordered clothes .... and one time my garment was washed and smelled of Downey!  It went back.

I've had pretty good luck with 'as is' items.  My only complaint is that I wasn't able to use the automated system to order them.  Had to listed to the operator read all the disclaimers that come with those items.  I've washed one Quacker Factory piece three times because it smelled of the scent used by whomever returned it.
