I don't see how peoople with really long and especially pointed ones, can do things! I was told by a person in the beauty profession that you just get used to them and they are no problem. I know I would be stabbing myself in the eye all the time if I had them!

My doctor told me years ago, artificial nails are toxic.
Nails are porous.
Anytime you are hospitalized and examined they looks at the nails.
Color and condition.

Well--I like the different ways of manicures --style , color, type, decor--I can't do manis--my nails are horrilbe from chemo years ago. IF they grow, I usually keep them very short. Dirty fingernails are gross no matter how long or the color. I am getting my first set of acylics however, as I am a MOG for upcoming wedding. I did have one mani a hundred years ago---so this will be my 2nd one.I agree people in the limelight should take good care of their hands and nails.

The different colors on the nails, the designs, whether done in polish or the 'ornaments' stuck on, the glitter nails and the pointy witchy looking nails are too much for any host. There are always close-ups, no matter what is being presented, and these foolish looking nails are unprofessional. You'd think Mgmt. would have a set of rules for something like this. I find myself looking at the nails and not the item being presented. Some are very childish designs and colors.

I wear press ons. They don't need nail glue- there is a tab on each nail. Once you pull off the tab, the nail is ready to press on. I cut and file them. Takes me about 20 minutes to do both hands. I use them on my toes too. I do not want to be tied to having my nails filled every couple of weeks. The press ons come off with soap and water and an orange stick. Picture enlarged to show detail.

@seaBreeze I bet she did not, can you imagine the lawsuit she would have on her hands (so to speak) if she scratched one of them?

@AngelPuppy1 it's true you really do get use to them . I've had long natural nails since I was 15 , all the women on my moms side have strong nails . Anyways when I break a nail which doesn't happen often I will cut down all the others to let them grow out together which only takes 3 weeks tops , they grow fast . I cannot pick up things, and I have a hard time doing normal tasks without my nails .💅

I think Leah has the Most Beautiful nails of any of the Q hosts !! 🤗
I’ve never seen her nails not looking anything but perfect. And she does them herself !! Amazing!!
She must be saving herself a boat load of money doing them herself.
I don’t know about You but I find myself more in Awe of anything Natural….
and anything fake makes me look away. 🤗🤗🤗
@RescueLover I agree with you Leah's nails and hands are the best , she has beautiful hands . I do my own nails and always have I think the one and only time I had a manicure was for my wedding. Easier and cheaper to do them myself and I don't have to go anywhere to get them done !😊
I also feel Courtney's hands , not her nails are beautiful she doesn't even need those long pointed nails.
