They aren't even pretty - looks like they were made from an old washcloth.

Yeah, that is just nuts.  I'm all for buying what you want but like my marketing teacher said the public sets the prices.  In other words, if there are people willing to pay hundreds of dollars for polyester/****** then the sellers are going to sell it.  That's why it's important NOT to buy inferior products at high prices.  If we don't then the sellers are forced to lower prices.

QVC didn't set that price.  It's $38 on BFD's website too.

as is everything lately on qvc ridiculously priced. I was interested in a pair of ryka boots, checked the q, first thinking their claim to fame is the buy in bulk therefore no middleman, 102. and change the ryka website 84.00, moral of this story we're being robbed by QVC. so yes, I do believe that they would sell scrunchies at 38.00

@willomenia  - No one is being robbed by QVC.  Shop around for your best deal.  If you shop around, you'll find the Q offers some better deals than other retailers on some things.  For example,  the beauty deals are pretty good.

I don't know, nor care, where others buy their cosmetics but I feel confident that when buying cosmetics or beauty care items from QVC that I'm not receiving counterfeit products. QVC often has lower prices than a brand's own website.

If someone wants to seek out lower prices elsewhere I hope they receive what they actually order.

No you're wrong @willomenia .  There are many beauty deals that are offered at the Q that you can't purchase anywhere else.  For example, the offerings on MAC, Philosophy, Tarte, etc.

Anyhow, QVC doesn't claim to be the cheapest gig in town.  As I said in my earlier post, shop around for your best deal.
