This past week I got 2 on-line surveys.

The first was pretty standard. Then, a few days later I got another one where I answered a few questions then asked if I wanted to participate in a zoom call with some QVC people. I declined, figuring no one has listened thus far to any issues or comments on any other surveys I have participated in. Seemed like time wasted.

Did any of you get one? Are you participating?

@Jacie.  I can't even imagine being disgruntled with a company then refusing to meet with company reps who nust be interested in determining ways to rectify deficiencies.

I'd  jump at the chance.

Re: Anyone Else Get The Surveys?

Like some other posters, I got tired of the repetitive questions and decided to quit and not finish.  It just went on and on asking about other purchases and information I didn't want to give.  I didn't find the survey I started to deal with my experience with the retailer, but to just gather information for their future planning.  I won't bother to answer another.

Re: Anyone Else Get The Surveys?

@Jacie  I got a survey about 1 or 2 weeks ago. It was pretty detailed, but it kept asking me about clothing purchases. I don't buy clothing on QVC. The only response I could select was "not positive or negative." It never diverted to another line of questioning based on my purchases or let me explain why I was answering that way. I'm not sure what they can gain by reviewing my survey. There were some questions about shipping speeds and my shopping habits re online and B&M.

Re: Anyone Else Get The Surveys?

@Kachina624 not disgruntled at all. I just don't buy much from QVC anymore, but found it interesting that they wanted me to join a zoom call! That is what really made me say no! I don't even zoom with friends and family!

Qurate already has the means to drill down to the penny how much customers spend per year, even how much EACH customer spends per quarter.

All you have to do it look at thier quarterly report in the financial pages when they report quarterly earnings.

And they also know, to the head, how many customers they have LOST year over year. They do NOT seem to be gaining any (yet) although I suppose that could change due to the miracle of streaming ( /S )!!!!!

I wonder if they want to know if YOU know how much you spend?

When people wake up and realize just how much they are shelling out for stuff they barely use, they might  stop buying!!!

I have not recieved such a survey, or, if I did, it got lost in the 100 emails an hour I seem to get. If it was a telephone survey....well, Medicare Plan salesmen won't let anyone get a call in during the day.....

Re: Anyone Else Get The Surveys?

I feel left out. I have NOT gotten a survey.

If I did, I would tell them I want:

1) More Dyson, Shark or no-name Vacuums-louder the better. In FIFTY colors.

2) More Dyson Oval Fans.

3) More Halo Bolts

4) More Famous Brother's Mattresses

5) More last generation electronics. That have NOT been updated so I can do it myself!!

6) More special hats that grow hair.

7) More Scrub Daddies in various colors.

8) A LOT more high-wattage counter top appliances the size of 55 gallon drums....to heat up tons of tan foods....with washed up TeeVee people's names slapped on them.

9) Josie Maran and Wen Oily Glops (tied for 9th place).

10)  ANYTHING made out of Sherpa....we need more Sherpa. Without buh-hons. Shapeless. Poor quality material ...offered by barely-known-name actresses....

I also suggested, in the free form area, that they should run TSV's EVERY hour, for at LEAST 45 minutes of each hour.

On all the Q stations

.I suggested these things because most of them make the BOW-RING list over and over and over again in these forums....and no one seems to take notice....so I don't think they plan to make any changes any time soon.

By 2025, there will only be about 25 products shown on a continuous loop, with AI hosts.

I bet I left some other super-borers off this list, but creating the list in itself made me doze off.

@Jacie

What makes you think they didn't listen?

While most customer complaints have at least some validity, that doesn't mean a correction is one simple step and can be unrelated to everything else in the retail sales and marketing process.

There's a lot of "moving parts" to running an online international retailer.

Example:  What you consider a simple suggestion might actually affect 4 departments and coordinating several activites between them.   Not easy.

Having said all that .... I think it's important to give feedback every chance we get.

Re: Anyone Else Get The Surveys?

I received one survey; not the one inviting me to do a Zoom call.  It was about my buying habits and then a lot of questions about whether I would buy services like home help, financial planning, travel (tours, etc.), or home repair from QVC or HSN.  (I said no.).

At the end of the guided survey, I did get the opportunity it to give them my "freestyle" opinion about current QVC! 😁

@mnmom

I received a similar online survey a few days ago. The questions which I found most interesting were:

Would I use online retailers such as QVC, HSN, Walmart, etc. for financial and retirement planning, cruises/travel reservations, home healthcare, and house renovations.

Huh? Are these services that QVC is researching for the future?

Scratching my head...
