My son had the same speech impediment Amy has. His elementary school speech teacher taught him to put his tongue in a different position. For the word called it should be up on the roof of the mouth immediately behind the front teeth. It might help Amy to not used the word called instead the word named. Or I can be more tolerant that it shouldn't be an issue. Okay enough from me today.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

@Biftu  Yes, total OPPOSITE of the poster here.  Her voice wears on you, bit like you she is kinda my fit model when contemplating purchasing clothing.

I do like Amy becasue she wears the clothes well, even LOGO. I also can't stand her laugh. She and Jayne Brown are the only two host that I will tune in for their programming.

@Nancy Drew that's exactly the issue my brother  had when young .  He could not say L's and your right you have to put your tongue on the roof of your mouth and in back of front teeth.    He went to speech therapy and speaks perfect as an adult.   I wonder if anyone bin her family has kindly pointed it out to her Ever ?   It's not too late to work on it.

@Kitty Galore  She knows because I've heard her comment about it a few times. I guess she chooses not to do anything about it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

I totally agree with your statement. I believe she is a show-off, and the entire QVC audience knows the slug line "I'm 5'2 and extra extra small. She is not the only host who is 5'2 or 5'3, and they do not sing that song over and over again. She is not professional at all. It seems that QVC must be having a hard time recruiting decent hosts for the show.

I like Amy and love to see her style various items. My only issue is that her Studio Park Line is very expensive. I'm not paying $61.00 for a T-Shirt. Maybe that's QVC pricing.

Other than her manical laugh when she is with Lori Goldstein, which I listen to on mute, she's fine.
