It isn't about bragging it's about some of us who are left out.
Being tiny like Amy' doesn’t mean the clothes will fit or look the same. Long torso, short legs, broad shoulders, narrow hips, there are endless variations. Unless you’re her clone, it’s still guesswork.
So true. I'm actually very petite and tiny in hips and legs but more broad in upper part of body. So while I wear a size 2 or 4 in pants/jeans I wear a S in Q tops.

Her delivery in general is performative.
ITA with your post. I just find her annoying, especially find it tacky when she's standing next to a larger model and she's constantly saying "I'm in the XXS and (insert model's name) is wearing the 2X. It's like she's always emphasizing how tiny she is compared to everyone else.
I suspect that Amy has no idea the psychology behind being sensitive to weight and size issues. When she states about her size next to a woman Size 2X, she is an XXS, she has no idea that it might be offensive. Naturally thin people, who have never had size issues tend to not understand how insensitive that can sound.
I don’t think Amy’s being insensitive. To me, it’s not about lacking awareness, it’s that she’s completely focused on herself. It’s always about Amy in that moment, and she seems more interested in staying center stage than considering how her delivery might come across.

@manny2 With that logic why have models at all then?

Gee I guess women like Amy and I should just zip it because after all I guess we don't have a need to want clothes that fit us well like the other sizes. I am very sensitive to larger sizes as my whole family of women were larger but try being smaller and we are bragging.

So when Leah says she's in a size large and the model is an extra small, she's bragging that she's bigger?

Never cared for her and still don't so I avoid her. I also don't get all the missives about her 'new' hair styles. Her hair always seems to be variations on the same theme. Sometimes she adds streaks, sometimes not, but overall not that different from time to time and, to me, always a bit messy, which is, of course, her choice.

If what you think is true, shame on her for her insensitivity and cluelessness. We all know she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.
