Re: Amy Morrison would be a great host at QVC

IMHO Amy would be just another phony baloney added to the list on QVC. Every time she does her phony WOW It makes ill. She is another that uses every product she has ever presented so I guess she would fit right in.

The best host right now is on HSN aka Amy Morrison. Shes been at HSN for 10 years and does the popular beauty report. She would be so good on QVC. She reminds me a little of LR but she has charisma and energy

Your statement that she reminds you of Lisa but she has charisma and energy would seem to say that Lisa did not have those two qualities.

NO for Amy.  She repeats herself over and over and appears a bit vapid.

I have to disagree with OP. Amy Morrison is one of the HSN hosts who l consider unwatchable. She has a fast-talking, huckster style-- similar to Bobbie Rae Carter, IMO. I think their best host is Colleen Lopez.

I like Bobbi Rae.

@Carmie

If QVC needs any help finding new hosts, they'll let you know.  In the meantime, please stop looking for them.

LOL.  What is wrong with some people here.  I have watched Amy Morrison on HSN and I am glad she is where she is.  I don't even understand the purpose of the comment.  Bizarre

Ditto!  The last thing QVC needs is another narcissistic megalomaniac.  She had to be reprimanded for turning every show into a personal makeup application showcase.  She upstages her guests better than SK and makes about as much sense as CC.

I'd like to see an articulate, well educated host willing to focus on the product details and customer needs rather than themselves.

And I'd like to see more of a variety of products so that the product details are worthy of focus...

The reason these networks have deteriorated into a 'cult of the host' formula is because they've backed themselves into a corner by presenting such a narrow array of products. They have assumed the hosts can keep an audience interested in repeat presentations of the same handful of brands and products and it would appear they're learning they were wrong and that their assumption was flawed. Most shoppers do not want to see too long, too frequent presentations of the same brands by the same vendors.

Re: Amy Morrison would be a great host at QVC

I don't think any of the HSN hosts would "fit in" at QVC.  They seem to have a different style of presenting.  I do like both channels, but prefer QVC.  Will say my HSN shopping has increased some because of all their "deals" and free shipping.
