Allstate Insurance Plans 🤔

Has anyone bought and used these plans?

Not expensive at all for the coverage.

Almost sounds too good to be true. Covers labor and parts and free shipping of item.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.  I stick by that rule of thumb.  I have not purchased one of those plans because I seldom buy anything from the Q where they offer it, but I stick with my first statement.

I've known a couple of people who tried to use these and it was a total bust.  Maybe other companies are better?

I paid for one of these plans on a new large screen tv. Within 9 months, the tv went bad. They paid for the replacement.

I'm not big on these separate warranty plans but they can come in handy if you're iffy about something.

I would never buy such a plan through Q though.

I dislike their plans.   They seem to work against an easy use of them.  First, you never get a hard, paper copy of the contract.  It is sent via email!   I never got the alledged email!   I never had a paper copy to study or make referance to.

Then, when you have a computer problem and their email is on the computer, what good is it?   And all their correspondence is sent to the broken computer!   They require all response done via email.   More than frustrating.  It is planned obstruction and refusal of services.   A rip off.

Not everyone has a secondary computer or a friend or relative with them to borrow the use of their computer.
