Saw Alberti today on the Q.  He had a "boot" on his foot.  Does anyone know

what he did?

At least he's working through his injury rather than taking sick days.

Yes, when I tried to see the answer it was removed.  Guess it's another secret.

No longer care.

Alberti has a 5th metatarsal fracture - a fracture of the long bone on the outside of the foot that connects to the little toe.  One of my sisters had this happen, and I know from her experience (and descriptions on medical websites, for those interested) that it can be excruciatingly painful and also likely takes a long time to heal properly.  Hope he has a speedy recovery with no problems. 😊

I broke my 4th metarsal. My entire foot turned purple

  • and green. My Dr wrapped it in ace bandage and I immediately told him the pressure was too much so he removed it. I was offered cruches which  I refused.
  • Too cumbersome. I wore flip flops and could hobble on my heel around the house for 2 days. By the 3rd day I could walk carefully but with full weight. All injuries heal differently
