@QVCTVSpree wrote:Kerstin's podcast featured on the front page of this gossip/tabloid Mag just absolutely TERRIFIES me!! It is very scary how crazy popular she is getting with her pseudo science beliefs. She is flat out DANGEROUD with her advice, but she is getting so popular with this podcast.
It should terrify anyone that a woman who reommends NO sunscreen or mammograms is getting this popular and very fast!!. She is going to be making $1M a year in NO time flat..We have the future female Joel Osteen right from out TV sets and beyond, GULP!!!
She would love that you think she's that popular, but in reality, she is not. Her podcasts get very few views, as podcasts go. She likes to say she's "top 200" but that only happened in the beginning, and top 200 of podcasts is really not saying much. Her "members only" section only has a few paying customers, and if you ever watch one of her previously recorded livestreams, there is very little, if any engagement.
And I think she jumped the shark with the mammogram episode. After she INVITED push-back, she got very testy when it came at her, and then she back-pedaled and said she plans on continuing to get mammograms. All of the contrived "controversy" she tries to generate is just for clicks and likes. That's how she makes her money, by being deceptive, rather than truthful. Not very Christian or honorable, if you ask me.
In the podcast and social media influencer realm, a person has to be exceedingly popular with a HUGE following (Hundreds of thousands, not mere hundreds or thousands) in order to make much money at all.
I think that's why we are seeing such a push on this Antonella interview because the two of them are using each other's "influence" to promote themselves. Friends helping friends, I suppose, but I would rather spend my time and money on more credible and worthy individuals, who actually have something useful or interesting to say.

Never knew anyone I thought more of a grifter than Antonella.

I watched the video of AN with KL and was curious about something. AN mentioned her many many followers on FB and YT and touched on criticism she got with some asking her why she didn't get a job and she said she's doing the same thing she did before--selling jewelry albeit on her boat. It sounds like from what she said that she's doing well financially too. Not knowing a lot about YT, do you all think she's making a lot from YT and from her jewelry contracts?

@KKJ - I don't know anything how You Tubers get paid, but some of them do quite well. Sounds like she's doing good.
I'm curious why her husband didn't go back to work. He had a heart attack and was in his late 50's, but many folks are still able to work after having a heart attack.

@San Antonio Gal She also sells personalized videos. The link is on every post she makes.

I wonder why she still needs a GoFundMe account if she is doing so well selling jewelry? Maybe her husband is getting some sort of Disability check due to his heart attack?
They must be doing OK if she doesn't want to work for "the Man" anymore and wants to set her own hours, etc. Sounds like she has recovered from her misfortunes, and is now "living the dream" on their boat!

@San Antonio Gal @KKJ you can vet me on this, as I only know part of how money is made on Facebook and YouTube channels. One,.... it does matter if you are a content creater, or an influencer. Usually
the ones who make money have 1-5 multiple streams of revenue. That might include ads, sponsored ads, streaming , sales, videos, and other revenues. I read that in 2024 the average income was 150 -450 bucks per every 10,000 viewers. Income can be 50,000@yr and over. I imagine Antonella makes money on ads, providing services, her videos, and her jewelry. You know how some websites you have to subscribe to? They get paid for that, and for you viewing the advertisment that comes before video. If you watch ad all the way thru, they get more money! Ot can be lucrative. I do know an influencer cn hVe many perks! Many top stores can give you a monthly allowance to buy clothes or merch from them. You choose what you want, and preview them on your channel. And so it goes.....

It's awful, isn't it? Kerstin did the same thing when she took her so-called "missions trip" to Mexico, that was really just a glorified vacation to a gated, beach-front resort.
They did do some volunteer work at a local primary care medical clinic. I wouldn't call it missionary work, which would typically involve the missionaries living and serving amongst the less fortunate souls in the community for a period of months or years. This was more like a vacation with some volunteer work thrown in, which is admirable, but Kerstin has a tendency to wildly exaggerate many of the aspects of her life, including her credentials as a wellness salesperson.
Kerstin and her family got to go home to their cushy condo after sweeping floors in a clinic; a clinic that actually charges $150 a day to "serve" there.
Kerstin was begging for people to donate to the clinic via an Amazon shopping list, which meant asking hard-working people, many of whom were on limited incomes to donate stuff like yoga mats and other non-essential items.
And before anyone accuses me, yes, I've done actual missionary work and I volunteer my time (and money) regularly, much as I'd strongly prefer not to mention it at all. Most folks who do such things choose to do it quietly and without fanfare.

@San Antonio Gal @febe1 I was curious about Antonella husband. What job did he hold before heart attack? When I look him up, it says her husband Chris keeps low profile, and little is known about him. Maybe Antonella has mentioned him over the years and what he has he has done. ? Thanks,
