Mary DeAngelis said she was Lisa Robertson's AP before she became a host...what does that stand for?

Not surewhat that means but I remember when she was on In the Kitchen with David, she handled the Facebook page while he was on the air, and she helped set up for different appliances and whatever was coming up.

Before she was on air as David's sidekick in ITKWD, Mary DeAngelis has said she worked at QVC in the customer service Call Center. 

I don't know what AP for Lisa Robertson means.  But perhaps she was indeed associate producer for one of Lisa's weekly shows.

Mary really did start at the bottom and work her way up.   I remember hearing her talk about working in the call center.  Took them long enough to recognize her abilities.

I like Mary. I think she is entertaining without being over the top. Plus, I know nothing about her personal life, she so is not constantly talking about family members as that other motor mouth host does.
