Does any one ever read the owners manual when they order an air fryer? From all the questions on here, about Meredith's air frying book, I'd say no. The book is for any brand of air fryer, it's about cooking and air frying basics, it is not about brands.

Even if you read your manual it doesn't mean that a particular cookbook will work with your air fryer. Because depending on the shape of the basket or the size of the basket, or wattage of the air fryer the recipes will have to be altered. Unlike an oven where most recipes can be used, the size of the basket or the fins on the bottom of the basket (I believe the star fins are patented by Phillips to regulate the air flow, thus lower the time needed to cook something) dictates the time. Just like a recipe for a regular oven will have to be altered if you're going to use a convection oven.

I don't have this book I'm actually on the fence about getting it, whether or not I would use it. I've read people who had the Phillips, that looks like the three quart they offered, had to alter the recipes when they got the larger one that the lid lifts up due to it cooking either hotter or colder than the smaller one ( some say it cooked cold or due to the glass lid, and being larger). And that's just due to the size of the basket with the hot air blowing around it. This is why during presentations for the book they make sure to note that the book will work for all air fryers.

My manual just had the basic instructions on how to turn it on and a few recipes in the back.

Do you have the book? Most books have a few recipes I like, the rest are too "fancy". It winds up never being opened.

Did you see all the questions people were asking about that Tracfone?  Nearly all could have been answered by watching the on air presentation and/or reading the Q&As.  People are too lazy to look for information; they want it handed to them on a silver platter.  Some questions showed a distinct lack of common sense.  You need the patience of a saint to deal with the public.

I say 'No' also since some reviews clearly show it....
