But the problem is that is the method that QVC uses to ship!!!! That is their responsibility. It's a cheap method where Mail Innovations saves up pkgs and sends to the areas of the country at the same time. This was fully expained by an employee there.
If the pkg is coming from Ohio to Michigan it will be put in a bin with other pkgs going to Mich until they have enough to truck out. That's why pkgs are held.

So the holdup IS the way UPS Mail Innovations does business.

QVC knows this and still chooses them to send out their deliveries!!!
That is the problem.

Mail Innovations is indeed the biggest part of the problem.

I worked for the post office for a few years after retiring. Mail sent by Mail Innovations sits until a third party, unrelated to USPS, picks it up and moves it to the next location. These other companies aren't going to make trips if they aren't profitable so things just sit.

Re: ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!

UPS where I am has been good until the past month or so.  Food deliveries should take priority, but the last order of Just Bagels I was expecting (2-day shipping) were delayed and then on the day they showed "out for delivery", the driver went right past our house and later updated the tracking at 2:30 p.m. to say they couldn't be delivered due to "Emergency event or severe weather conditions".

I contacted UPS (the depot is only 15 miles away) to say there was no severe weather.  We'd gotten about an inch or two of snow overnight but we'd driven out to have breakfast and by 2:30 the snow had melted it off.  (Where I am, if you can't drive in that much snow, turn in your license.)

I wasn't about to eat bagels that had sat around in warehouses for five days, so I got a refund and tossed them.  (The driver lied again saying he delivered them at 8:30 the next morning.  They weren't delivered until after 4:00 p.m.)

Today I was supposed to get an order of Sweet Sam's.  It was at the local depot by 10 o'clock last night.  Today they've simply put that "delivery will be delayed by one business day".

No reason why; no explanations.  It's a beautiful day here, weather-wise.  They must be having problems with their drivers, is all I can think, but I'm not ordering anymore food online until this stops.  I've already cancelled another shipment I had for this month.

Non-perishable items are one thing; food not so much.

Get used to it. This is how the world of deliveries often works, nowadays. Cannot compare things to the past-

@KACEE1115   send an email to QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com.   They respond quickly and are normally quite helpful.

All things considered, 16 days doesn't seem bad.  But I agree they should do better - and other companies do.

It's taking a week or so just for the product to leave the building!   This has been an ongoing problem for a long time now, that's why so many of us have shopped elsewhere.

Re: ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!

Everyone is having problems with delivery.  Since COVID all companies are running at sometimes half-staff.  I do a lot of online shopping and have found this with just about everyone.  Patience!

Re: ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!

We rarely order from QVC. Receive Amazon very quickly sometimes the next day. Ordered a recliner from Wayfair and it was delivered in less than a week. Our coffee orders are on auto and come on time, I guess they're from Amazon, not sure.

I am also having issues with getting credit for returns in December. I know about their fire but this is ridiculous

If you used your return label , use the live chat , they will try to track your package and they will immediately give you the refund. Em
