@Bella2022 I love when that works out, if you want them. I'm assuming you did since you checked them again at a later time.

Remember, when the available stock is purchased, or in a cart, they consider it sold out. However, as we all know, we put things in our cart but never purchase it.

They only relate what they are told & there is a counter the hosts look at during programming. As another poster stated, the sneakers may have been placed in shopping carts.

There are also a great many credit cards declined which puts stock back in the system the next day.

Shouldn't be allowed. You can't do that in retail stores

Sure you can @SharkE

Only one more pretty bowl in Macy's, I asked the clerk.  All gone, no more on order....and Granny over there is walking around with it.  I wanted it cuz it was on a registry, and one of the few things I could afford from the extravagant list this bride had......I hang...she browses and browses.....I finally give up and leave.

Doesn't she eventually put the dang thing back????  I had given the clerk my name in case she didn't purchase!

Oh man, @SharkE , perfectly said. I was going to respond to @RespectLife but I think your example explains perfectly.

I don't understand "should not be allowed". I personally find it crazy to think we should not be allowed to put something in my cart, online or inside a store.

You either can afford it or not.

I want to go put a red corvette on 'hold' at the car dealer. Don't think they will let me do it, though.

Hello, I love that corvette you have for 60,000 .

Can I hold it  for 1,000 ?

Yes but @SharkE

supposedly ...items will only remain in your cart for an hour or so...

I have put things in my cart on almost every website and then went and did more shopping!!

It is quite possible when I see my eyes were bigger than my budget....that some things in my cart may be deleted or 'saved for later'

You can't be saying that if you put it in your cart, you can't leave to browse ??

Most online sites have a 'continue shopping' banner that pops up to get ya looking more!
