There is nothing really wrong with this dress, the only problem it may not be your taste. The model looks good in  it as well. The stripes are done in a way that make you look slim, and I have seen several designers do this same technique lots of times during the last few years. Fashion has changed and new designers don't really do things like designers in the pass. If you have noticed they are casual and I am not in that space and I am not to much in elastic waistbands either but this is what they are doing. My fashion sense is more the Joan River classic style.
