The greens lady is a little odd IMO.  She always refers to her "illness" but never says what it is.  So how are we to know how her WONDERFUL product has helped her?  Pure Snake Oil  as far as I'm concerned.  I feel for the people supporting this product.  Who needs to eat that many greens daily?  And there is NO fiber in such consumption and that is what is so important.  And the price?  I will stop here...

My sentiments exactly! I too find it odd she never talks about what her illness is or was.  And very pricy indeed!

Because she can not tie the product to curing or helping her so called"illness" legally....thus she is very vague ....

here is what she says this product cured her of on her own website

At age 25, Dawn Russell was diagnosed with stage III lymphatic cancer. When a bone infection precluded chemotherapy and radiation, she set out in search of a miracle cure. Of all the steps that led toward healing, the one that impacted the most was the simplest: greens. After learning that 87% of Americans don’t get enough greens, Russell made it her mission to make the eight most essential easily accessible to everyone. Four years of testing, five scientists, five manufacturers, and 263 prototypes later, she launched 8Greens (8G) together with her husband, English environmental investor Lord James Russell. A blend of spinach, wheatgrass, kale, blue green algae, spirulina, Aloe Vera, chlorella and barley grass, the effervescent tablets dissolve in a glass of water for an on-the-go green juice that costs $1.40 a day

Never have heard of a miracle cure for Stage III lymphatic cancer.

While it's treatable, and can even be cured in some instances, it's an aggressive treatment plan.

I'm glad she doesn't mention it on air, since it might make some people stop a traditional treatment plan, opting for greens, instead, to their own peril.

It's hard to imagine that 'greens' cured this cancer, although there's no question that ingesting healthy nutrients enriches our immune system and the way we feel.

Can't say it didn't happen, but if she had a miraculous healing, her claims would certainly be medically significant findings.

A sucker is born every minute and businesses will price gouge everytime they can get away with it. There are a number of high quality supplements available for a lot less money.

Always price shop. Always quality shop. Everything Q sells can be found for less money elsewhere.

I had used 8 Greens before, and I switched to the Reds&Greens from the TV doctor.

So, I thought the 8 Greens TSV would be a special price. Wrong!!

Can you believe $85. for 60 days plus $5.50 S&D plus tax. Now, come on. This is greedy and someone trying to get rich too fast. No way am I spending almost $100. for this!

@febe1 Are you referring to Balance of Nature?

No, @Icegoddess. The Q had a doctor from "The Doctors" selling Reds & Greens. It was pricey, but not as pricey as 8 Greens. I've been thinking of trying Balance of Nature. Have you used it?

I take SuperBeets and love them. I get them from Humane. SuperBeets are wonderful, and I get them at great price from Humane. No wonder athletes take this: 20 minutes and you have energy.

I take a daily health drink: Collagen w/Peptides, SuperBeets, some kind of fruit&veggies, Pom (pomenegrate juice) and flaxseed. I'll throw in fruits on hand. I couldn't start the day w/o this. Smiley Happy

@febe1 no, was just wondering how much they cost once you get past the promotional rate.  I'm also assuming it's an automatic subscription.  I'm not a fan of those.

I don't have any pain issues, but I got curious about Relief Factor that gets pushed a lot on TV too.  I was thinking the promotional rate was $19.95 for 3 weeks, but 3 weeks is not a month. And, if that's a deeply discounted rate as they say in the commercial, how much is the subscription rate?  I was able to find it along with what the ingredients were, but I don't really remember except that it was pricey.  I can imagine that if you tried to put together all of those different herbal supplements, that could get pricey too, but some of them, according to the article I read, don't have much evidence they work.

QVC is targeting customers clueless about nutrition.  There are many good green nutritional formulas out in the market less expensive and as good or better formulas.

@SeaMaiden .. can you recommend any? TIA

I am an embarrassed sucker who bought into the 8 Greens and not just for one month~  I bought 2 months supply in peach.  They taste gosh awful and I can barely get them swallowed.  My husband said they are harmless, so why not chew a few.   Four a day?  UGH!!!
