@Group 5 minus 1  when Qurate announced the lay offs to their investors, they also prepared notification about it that included expense for severance as a result of the lay offs.

No one would ever know the specific amounts the employees received (nor should we).

Every company is different.  When I was laid off from my job in the 90's, my company paid me a very generous severance.  It was based on my years of employment with them, plus my level of management.  That was specific to me.

I also believe that also all this ado has to do w/personal feelings of termination not about Dan and Caroline.

This is a little OT. When one company that I know of VERPED many employees, those that didn't want to leave were taken in a room and told they had no choice. Perhaps that is what happened to some of the Q's employees.

Maybe QVC is bringing in a variety of hosts to prevent  'John Q. Public' from getting  to ''attached' to any one host and get upset when they get the boot !
