Hate? Absolutely not! Complete frustration? YES!

Nancy's slow learning curve simply didn't move for over 1 1/2 years, yet Stacy and Steve (whom she trained with) were well into their new hosting careers and making their own niches in QVC's business and on-line activies with vigor, ambition and success. She wasn't willing to do the work, rather wanted to pose and model the clothing she liked! Hosts don't do that.

Nancy simply wanted to do it "her way" which took her forever to realize it wasn't going to sell products or help her with confidence, learn QVC's products, met and converse in proper English with Reps on a regular basis, travel to represent QVC with vendors, and so much more.

You apparently missed my post where she is finally beginning to improve after a year and a half of gazing into the monitors and not communicating with anyone. I was standing up for her when another poster was posting negative comments. For the first time, I had seen Nancy behave as a potential QVC host and was pleased for her! It has been so painful to watch for so long and she's been mentored by so many hosts yet she continued to do it her way. That had to be nerve-racking for her. It was time-consuming for so many hosts to spend time trying to retrain her and it was costly for QVC to continue with training a year and a half after her class partners were well on their way and working successfully.

Before you mark snarky comments to me, know the entire story. I don't appreciate being called out with a false accusation.

You owe me an apology about hate and your snarky comment insinuating I'm upset over "what's going on in the world". All that nonsense is in YOUR head.

I agree, she isn't a great host, and it is not an easy job not everyone is suited for it
makes me wonder how much actual criticism and input  Mgt gives the hosts seems like they just let them go on air after basic training and then nothing.

Nancy and preparation

2 nights ago, when she was highlighting what she was to present.at the opening of her show... SHE DID NOT KNOW WHERE THE FIRST ITEM WAS AND  HAD TO BE TALKED INTO FINDING IT AND LOOKED SHOCKED WHEN SHE DID>>>STILL READING THE CARDS.  Analogy...think AIRPLANE and guiding the damaged airplane to a safe landing. She did not recognize it - you could tell by her voice, words and facial expression.

And, yet, as commented by some, when she speaks off-handedly sometimes, you wonder if she even knows that she is borderline - well, maybe inappropriate for a general audience television program where no one can afford to alienate any audience members.

Though another time, she mentioned her husband visited family in Austria and said 2 sentences about that and it was in context of a product. THAT was sincere, interesting and said naturally. That Nancy, was easy to listen to for those 3 minutes.

She is very pretty.

Yes, she should always read the cards.

I think the food show that he did on Thursday with Sandra Bennett showed his professional side. The 2 hosts and the vendor shared the time and interacted.

I found it informative and enjoyable.

You are right, Kerstin and he together try to outdo themselves for entertainment. so much you have no idea what the product is or how does it work... LITERALLY  as all the colors blow out the door (or fly) before all the multiple sales make this a sell out in 12 hours...

put in it your cart and check out now so you will not be sorry your favorite color is gone... or the price goes away at the end of the show and no re-orders this year we are never bringing this back.

(REMEMBER,, AUDIENCE HAS TO FIGURE OUT WHEN THE SHOW ENDS... 1 hour, 2 hours??? one minute??)

See, that was a minute or so of speaking time and I did not list the colors or say anything meaningful either about the product.

Oh, you can wear this in the morning, when you go to your mailbox, walk your children to the bus, go to the doctor's office, get your DMV photo, go through the

fast food drive through, go to the ATM., go to the neighborhood gathering or pumpkin patch and

this week's personal favorite "You need this when you go to the apple orchard"..

Most of the good hosts are on late at night.  I enjoy Stacy, Vanessa, Monifa and Courtney if she does shoes by herself. Nancy Yoon needs to be let go or wherever they send them.  I just don't watch Kerstin, Jen, Shawn, Rachel or Jane.  Too chatty with vacations & family.  Kerstin with her lakehouse, boat, & pool which we all paid for. Jane incessant with her daughter's lives.
