As an earlier post mentioned, these new hosts appear to have show biz/musical backgrounds.

I just found their info on the internet. Broadway Energy to be sure!

I wonder what melodies will go with "let's go through the colors again!"

Everywhere I worked it was always called a buyout. Employees near retirement were given financial incentives to pack it in early and head out the door.

Jenn, Ali, and Alberti all end the majority of their sentences with "right", too. I think they are trying to fill airtime. It is super annoying and that word jumps out at me each time they say it. I really wish these hosts would regularly watch themselves and make changes accordingly.

Can you imagine having to talk about most of the products for 10-20-30 minutes? I'd be using a lot of filler words too.

Look, we all knew what was going on here. Carolyn and Dan were laid off for a reason, not because of poor performance or QVC's financial problems.

The reason is because QVC's job requirements changed in the past two-three years. Some hosts are being replaced for other types. For age and other equally as troubling reasons. It's called discrimination.

Speculating? Possess a lot of experience working with corporations and you will know what is going on too.

Corporations have a sneaky way of getting rid of older workers without it being blatant age discrimination. I was high enough up the ladder at a huge corporation for a long time and know how things really work.

People need to stop being so naive about how corporations function and how countless laws have been passed to take away workers rights.

Please enlighten us about "what is going on."

All you have to do is listen to real news and watch the laws being proposed and passed to have a clue.

Follow all the money funneled to certain politicians. Watch politicians cater to industries and huge corporations instead of working for the betterment of people.

I worked for a huge corporation for nearly 40 years in higher psitions that was in the know.

It boggles my mind that so many people choose to be naive about how they function and work politicians.

Q's big marketing ploy is to get viewers to think they're friends with hosts because it makes for better sales. Hosts are salespeople who happen to be on tv. They're not friends or acquantances and never will be. It doesn't work with me.

Hosts only care about selling so they keep their jobs. They don't care about viewers.
