Why would you choose them? Because the ones left, not worth looking at,except for David. Maybe I'm old school, but I prefer host that cares about products, not ones that thinks that I'm showing off just to be on tv.  They act as if they don't know or care about anything their showing.  I know we have to have all different people now. Even if not worth looking at. I have spent thousands of dollars for years here, mostly because I enjoyed watching certain host that feels like they enjoy always smiling not fake. I'll admit that since Dan&Carolyn was sent packing it's not the same. Them and several makes you feel like family, especially when you're disabled and can't shop much anymore out. You realize these people that you see so much are a lot of help. The New ones aren't the best choice either. I feel someone are making them hire no matter if there good or not just to have those on QVC. Models are getting awful to, where's all the other models that was on so much before? Maybe 2 to 4 is all you see that was on there for a long time before the civic carp started. QVC is not enjoyable anymore, now I have to find something to look at most of the day. Does not feel like family show just whatever you can put on there.

I'm sure with the incoming there will some outgoing. Perhaps not by choice.

They could let Jane go & I would be the first to celebrate her replacement!  I don't suppose that's why they hired this new bunch though. Why don't they just give it a rest for now?  I think a lot of their customers are tired of this merry-go-roound of people.  What's wrong with leaving everything as it is?

NY has mentioned (on TV) going to various hosts' homes for mentoring and suddenly considered each host her new girlfriend or BFF. It's terribly sad in many ways that she's still unable to speak about the product details, rather than herself. She seems to be craving the wrong attention.  

NY will be on with SK at 10:00 PM on the main QVC Channel tonight (and is, of course, thrilled! She asked "friends" to watch her debut with SK on QVC1. Either SK will be kind and helpful or she will be rude to NY as only SK can be when she's impatient and/or tired. Who knows? Doubt I'll watch it unfold.

For the amount of time I spend watching the Q (very little) I shouldn't complain, but waiting for new hosts to improve can be a painful process.

I notice when there is two hosts that the hosts pay very little attenytion to the vendor or the models and seem to be delighted and intent on talking between themselves. They love each other, have their own personal jokes, praise each other, and the product gets short changed. 

It's very rude to pay that kind of attention to each other whille ignoring the tv audience, also. 

They also go on and on and on about how much fun they're having, while telling the viewers to go to qvc.com for all information.

@febe1 The silly banter seems to be more on fashion and beauty shows. There is not a lot of wine drinking and chatting during a vaccum or mattress show. 

But the host assigned to vaccum, mattress, or computer shows are different from the fashion and beauty shows. 

As a long time shopper on Q I can recall a few products that would get over the top silly and distracting such as Boyds Bears. 

Changing hosts is not the source of the Q sales problems. You are first and foremost a retail business. If your sales are down because your merchandise-prices-and /or service is not connecting with your customers.

Seriously, though, if they're bringing in new attractive talented hosts they need to bring in new lines of better clothing, products, etc. for them to sell.

Somehow I don't picture any of them selling a portable fan or D&C clothing.  Do you?
